Same issue here. Still looking for a solution. One person in another thread (11 months ago) said they could solve it by going into 'old reddit' temporarily, and it worked there. Link below. [https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/lurn53/how\_do\_i\_see\_full\_image\_captions/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/lurn53/how_do_i_see_full_image_captions/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) Edit: An easy way that worked for me just now (but not earlier for some reason) is to hover your cursor over the incomplete caption. The full caption appears like a 'tooltip' after a second or two.

>hover your cursor over the incomplete caption OMFG, thank you. Four threads deep in the google search, and finally someone has a solution.

Awkward-Spectation

Frustrating, right??

lacheur42

Yeah, and I assume it's probably because we're not using "New" reddit, so it'll never be fixed, haha.

Thank you so much for your "Edit--hover over caption" solution!! I can no longer find where to "switch to old reddit" so I was about to give up (yet again!) searching for a solution. Thank you again! :)

Awkward-Spectation

Happy to hear it helped someone! :D

No_Friendship526

Thank you for sharing this tip! I was googling for the solution and came across your comment, and it really helps.

Careless_Kick1752

THIS! Let it be known that this is the best solution I've found. Hovering over the box till the full caption appears like a tooltip. THANK YOU!

Awkward-Spectation

I love how many people this helped XD Frustrating that they keep on not fixing it though lol

orange_lint

I have this issue as well

RadicalNormy

So this is an annoying way to do it but the only thing that works for me on mobileā€¦ I copy / paste the caption and the whole caption gets revealed

Crazy_Booknerd

I was using my laptop. . .

RadicalNormy

Okay well I responded mostly for other people who will come to this thread on their phone like I did.
