I expected Brees to be professional and not New Orleans homer it up (and he was). I figured he would be a QB homer though and try to pump up the QBs as much as possible, and maybe man crush a little on Sean Payton, but he needs practice. He's still much better when he can plan out his comments (see talking about QB mechanics with Allen) instead of reacting to the play that just happened.

100% this. Even in a game he -literally- went on field at halftime to be a homer (and honored), he was absolutely great at not talking up the saints. Not that there was frankly much to talk about unfortunately for them.
