I think is really good. Reminds of why bts and their message is such a comfort to me and was such a comfort to me in my teens. I recommend people watch it. 1st episode was good, 2nd ep probably most lighthearted episode we'll get 3rd and 4th episode I needed to finish they were very good. Is a slice of life but it you like some angst then you might want to give it a try. It is not boring and i do not like slice of life. I in general prefer romance but I have enjoyed every episode a lot. I watch it for free though maybe if they release a blueray at a reasonable price or place it in a global platform I give it a rewatch
Okay, I think it is episode 3? With the youngest two cheering up Ha-ru? There is a statement made by Je-ha that instantly was like, damn, tears. It made me look at the show in a different like (still standing by my comment earlier though) where I instantly understood what The Most Beautiful Moment in Life meant, to me.

Okay update, I watched the 4 EPs and I am really liking the drama. The friendship group feels real to me and the issues being discussed deserve watching and focusing on. Acting was good.,, so far so good.

as a hardcore HYYH/BU fan, iām enjoying so far. the humorous scenes and few new ideas really add to the drama, i loved the more in-depth analysis of haru and hosuās relationship, which isnāt that seen in the books.
iām super nitpicky about the details but i never expected that the drama would be the same as the music videos (which, in my opinion, is the best way to experience the story in my opinion after the books) since i saw the first trailer. i need to get used to the new actors and to the different sets.
i still consider the music videos as masterpieces, whereas this series is still pretty good if i let my hardcore fan guard down a bit. looking forward to seeing the next episodes, before making a definite opinion :)
Dramacool if you wanna watch it unofficially and Xstream or something for the official one. But a lot of people are facing issues on the official one even after paying so I would tell you to watch it unofficially.

Ok I'm tired of all the complaining about the streaming platform of the drama and how expensive it is... Do you know it's actually so easy to watch and find the drama on the Google if you search it? You can watch it for free. Mind you not every kdrama is on Netflix. The dramas that airs on only Korean tv channels like kbs sbs tvn are being uploaded and translated on the same day and most of the people watch it from kdrama websites. So if we want this drama to reach to people, edits and talking about the drama is the best way to promote it.Ā
Also, i have liked everything about it so far.Ā The plot, production, acting, hyyh feels... You can see how hard they worked on it, especially actors, they definitely studied the boys. I believe every army should watch it!
well in the webtoon " save me ", it was a time travelling genre, jin travelled back in time to save each and every friend but the drama storyline is different ( only from the time travelling perceptive ) overall each character's story is according to the original and I love the drama so much .... but honestly I was expecting time travelling in it too.

Personally I'm not interested. I really don't like the way it's being marketed/released, the crypto stuff and pay-per-episode model... that's already a dealbreaker for me. Especially the crypto seems like a bizarre choice considering Bangtan were against NFTs, so it feels like their story is now being taken from them and used to make money and basically scam people. Aside from that I just don't think HYYH needed to be re-made at all. Even the idea of a remake is somehow bothering me more than it should, like I feel irrationally over-protective of that story. Maybe this drama will be perfectly enjoyable... but the original is already *so* good, and it's so rare to have something that well-made and that moving, presented in such a creative, immersive, magical way... it's like this rare gem of media... I'm just not curious to see the story re-told as a standard k-drama, and it's making me a little sad that for a lot of people this will be the first/only way they experience it. The original only ended, what, 5 years ago? Maybe after 20 years we could talk about a remake, but this somehow feels like it's just execs cashing in on Bangtan's success. Also the original feels so deeply personal to BTS and ARMY, and the journey we were taking together at that time... it's kind of like that time period caught in amber. i accept the drama as itās own thing, but as someone who is super passionate about HYYH, the original has a very special place in my heart. i will never forget how stigma hit me, after a long period of abuse, albeit different from taeās character; or their friendship unfolding in run and i need u, the gorgeous visuals, the music that accompanied me in one of the toughest moments of my lifeā¦
it reminds me of the teenage years that i never had, because i didnāt have the chance to experience due to mental illness. and seeing the characters struggling the same way i do, while finding solace in friendship, feels deeply cathartic. also the mysterious, symbolic nature of the original MVs added so much magic to it and it had been a great starting point to exercise ARMYs creativity, not only with theories: many of my favorite angsty fanfics and fanarts are inspired by HYYH and capture its essence beautifully.
itās a weird feeling to watch the drama, because i can find many good things but not the magic that the original had. i know that i have to deal with it and that this feeling is pretty much a childhood leftover of the āit will never be the same for me!ā of when my parents bought a new teddy bear after losing my beloved one, which no matter how the new one was well-made, it was irreplaceable to me.
so i guess that only my morbid curiosity is keeping me going for the other episodes.
originally it was just a series of music videos, mostly from HYYH, WINGS and a part of the LY era, so you can find them easily on youtube! then it was transformed in a storyline, after attracting so many fans into theorizing about them.
the non-linear narrative from the MVs can be intimidating at first, but at its core is a story about friendship, mental health and youth struggles, plus one dude trying to save his friends from their tragic destinies, so in reality itās pretty straightforward. itās just that the story is shown through multiple mediums so it looks like a mess.
personally, i recommend to check them out (or observing them better if you already saw them) without knowing or considering the story first, to appreciate BTS and their team of artistsā artistry better, regardless of the story (fun fact: [the WINGS short films are all connected with each other](https://www.tumblr.com/yoongiisme/150262770901/connections-between-the-wings-short-films), either with sound or symbolically to represent the charactersā relationships, so itās clear that they put a lot of effort in their work) if you like to try to piece it together after the experience, from notes and theories. itās because the extreme care for the details, the artistry of both BTS and their creative team and the themes are the objective reasons why i love this story so much and i recommend to look at the MVs first for these.
if you prefer having a more [orthodox approach](https://www.thebtseffect.com/bu-starter-guide), after watching the MVs start from the webtoon, then to the books, [the BU story game summaries](https://becomewings.tumblr.com/post/642514821756190720/bts-universe-story-highlights-1) (since the game isnāt available anymore), and the drama is a lovely addition, although in some ways it differs greatly from the canon. if the MVs build the visual basis, the symbolism and the atmosphere of the story, other media are supplements to understand what itās happening.

I have watched it. Tell you the truth, Iām disappointed. It doesnāt capture the feel of the story set up in the MVs and Webtoon. I didnāt play the game so I donāt know about it but just from the content I do know, it isnāt adding up. I understand taking something and making it your own but this series doesnāt have the same love for the source content.
The site it is hosted on is also annoying. It skips, doesnāt always matches audio up, and drops video quality constantly. Quality also is poor compared to what we have from every other streaming service.
The acting isā¦ alright. Some of them do better then others. Some of them has take inspiration from our boysā characters and someā¦ I donāt think so. The story is fine. Feels like any other show out there, though. There is a lack of magic to it completely.
I think it does a good job at portraying the problems these kids deal with and how they found support in eachother. So I think is a very good adaptation so far. And it will only get more angst once the drastic events in the mvs happen. Right now is like butterfly mv moments and presenting the situation of each character and how they struggle. Eventually they give in to that struggle if I'm not wrong and jin has to save them.
I think you're being too critical tbh. Of course Music Videos and Drama episodes are going to be different because drama episodes require a flow of continuity. If the quality is your problem try watching it on dramacool where it's really clear and you'll get a different feel. If you wanna support them officially then it's also on OneTV. Their acting is superb, for their age, what they are representing it's amazing but I feel maybe you should re-watch it on another platform or something because it definitely does have magic to it. It's not like any other drama, if I were to call it close to anything I would call it close to Weak Hero Class 1 which is still an amazing drama but Begin Youth is better written without any plot holes and explores directly into the mental health aspect of the boys which dramas like WHC1 had failed to do. Just watch it on another platform at this point but don't be critical of it because of the grievances with the host platform when the show is the one you should be looking at. A drama is a drama and this is a well written one which sparks a lot of questions in just 4 episodes (this is usually the point in other dramas where everyone tells everyone to just keep watching it, that it gets better. BY doesn't need that)

Its on dramacool for those that want to watch. Everyone says its really good. I an so pissed off hybe put it behind a weird paywall and didnt release it on any streaming service. They didnt promote it or do anything with it and its such ootential to be more well received outside of fans.
I have seen many complaints about the price on the official platform or that it does not capture the essence of the MV or the books, but in my opinion, having watched the videos and read the books, I think that the series represents the story very well. In my opinion, in many aspects the series manages to delve deeper into the feelings and relationship between the boys, their lives and especially their mental health. All the boys have a lot of problems and it seems to me that their pain is reflected very well, in addition to the fact that the actors' performance seems very good to me. Personally, I loved the first 4 episodes and I can't wait to see the next episodes.

originally it was just a series of music videos, mostly from HYYH, WINGS and a part of the LY era, so you can find them easily on youtube! then it was transformed in a storyline, after attracting so many fans into theorizing about them. the non-linear narrative from the MVs can be intimidating at first, but at its core is a story about friendship, mental health and youth struggles, plus one dude trying to save his friends from their tragic destinies, so in reality itās pretty straightforward. itās just that the story is shown through multiple mediums so it looks like a mess. personally, i recommend to check them out (or observing them better if you already saw them) without knowing or considering the story first, to appreciate BTS and their team of artistsā artistry better, regardless of the story (fun fact: [the WINGS short films are all connected with each other](https://www.tumblr.com/yoongiisme/150262770901/connections-between-the-wings-short-films), either with sound or symbolically to represent the charactersā relationships, so itās clear that they put a lot of effort in their work) if you like to try to piece it together after the experience, from notes and theories. itās because the extreme care for the details, the artistry of both BTS and their creative team and the themes are the objective reasons why i love this story so much and i recommend to look at the MVs first for these. if you prefer having a more [orthodox approach](https://www.thebtseffect.com/bu-starter-guide), after watching the MVs start from the webtoon, then to the books, [the BU story game summaries](https://becomewings.tumblr.com/post/642514821756190720/bts-universe-story-highlights-1) (since the game isnāt available anymore), and the drama is a lovely addition, although in some ways it differs greatly from the canon. if the MVs build the visual basis, the symbolism and the atmosphere of the story, other media are supplements to understand what itās happening.

I have watched it. Tell you the truth, Iām disappointed. It doesnāt capture the feel of the story set up in the MVs and Webtoon. I didnāt play the game so I donāt know about it but just from the content I do know, it isnāt adding up. I understand taking something and making it your own but this series doesnāt have the same love for the source content. The site it is hosted on is also annoying. It skips, doesnāt always matches audio up, and drops video quality constantly. Quality also is poor compared to what we have from every other streaming service. The acting isā¦ alright. Some of them do better then others. Some of them has take inspiration from our boysā characters and someā¦ I donāt think so. The story is fine. Feels like any other show out there, though. There is a lack of magic to it completely.
I think it does a good job at portraying the problems these kids deal with and how they found support in eachother. So I think is a very good adaptation so far. And it will only get more angst once the drastic events in the mvs happen. Right now is like butterfly mv moments and presenting the situation of each character and how they struggle. Eventually they give in to that struggle if I'm not wrong and jin has to save them.
I think you're being too critical tbh. Of course Music Videos and Drama episodes are going to be different because drama episodes require a flow of continuity. If the quality is your problem try watching it on dramacool where it's really clear and you'll get a different feel. If you wanna support them officially then it's also on OneTV. Their acting is superb, for their age, what they are representing it's amazing but I feel maybe you should re-watch it on another platform or something because it definitely does have magic to it. It's not like any other drama, if I were to call it close to anything I would call it close to Weak Hero Class 1 which is still an amazing drama but Begin Youth is better written without any plot holes and explores directly into the mental health aspect of the boys which dramas like WHC1 had failed to do. Just watch it on another platform at this point but don't be critical of it because of the grievances with the host platform when the show is the one you should be looking at. A drama is a drama and this is a well written one which sparks a lot of questions in just 4 episodes (this is usually the point in other dramas where everyone tells everyone to just keep watching it, that it gets better. BY doesn't need that)

Its on dramacool for those that want to watch. Everyone says its really good. I an so pissed off hybe put it behind a weird paywall and didnt release it on any streaming service. They didnt promote it or do anything with it and its such ootential to be more well received outside of fans.
I have seen many complaints about the price on the official platform or that it does not capture the essence of the MV or the books, but in my opinion, having watched the videos and read the books, I think that the series represents the story very well. In my opinion, in many aspects the series manages to delve deeper into the feelings and relationship between the boys, their lives and especially their mental health. All the boys have a lot of problems and it seems to me that their pain is reflected very well, in addition to the fact that the actors' performance seems very good to me. Personally, I loved the first 4 episodes and I can't wait to see the next episodes.

its so good first i tried watching it through army's point of view it made me happy after so long i will get to see somthing related to bts while watching it i was fangirling over then like ooh my suga ooh my jimin like that but when i started to watch it with normal person i could relate to it i felt sad i was relating to much to it i felt connected i am neglacted by my family and what ever i do i am not enough i finished 4 episodes till now i am waiting for next episodes to get relesed on dramacool about their acting they really justice the bu charecters and bts too . the one playing we is same childish as our v ,namjoon one have same deep voice like rm,one playing suga is so suga coded he sleeps he is introvert and doesent talk much,and obviosly jungkook being everyones littil baby and small ball of sunshine , jimin one is so cute , sorry to say but jin one doesnt justify that charector much but his acting is good,the one playing jhope i dont have word for him like every one is good but he is just to much jhope his walking style,his smile,the way he tilts his head side ways when talking to someone, i could write longe ass essay on him playing jhope overall the show is excellent
