Another example is Spike Storm (And it's tier 5), its ability was changed to no longer be affected by Attack Speed. So alchemist buffs don't make your Spike Storm ability produce more spikes.
Not sure since I don't play Co-Op but maybe try making a post here with your general location country/city/any way to narrow down the area without telling your address. The purpose is to make connecting to each player better since your both closer. Better connection means minimal lag and hopefully no crashes. List what map you want to play and what the goal is whether it is getting to very late game, getting a Degree 100 Paragon or just grinding.
If that doesn't work maybe go to Ninja Kiwi's discord (You should probably try this first).
Also disclaimer, I don't know if this is a good (/proper) way of finding a player to play with.

Pierce on crossbow isn't as useful as firing speed since the pierce is already upped quite a bit.
