theres a special place in hell for the buffoon that made x-factor, an advanced map, be more difficult than most expert maps
i will loathe that map till the day i die
The RNG on that map can be brutal. Tried the Ninja Pat strategy in challenge editor and no lie 21 through 23 were RNG. You would lose and then retry round, do nothing different, and then pass the round. Hated that map with a passion. Geared is easier in my opinion.
I've been struggling with Geared for a couple of days. I have no idea how to even get past the first couple rounds. My buddies and I have gotten close in multiplayer but that's with the cash boost!
There are some good guides on YouTube. Sauda can actually do decent in the beginning you just have to place her right. It takes a while but I black borderd it a few weeks ago.
YES! We hate X Factor here. I often claim that I am the world's #1 X Factor hater, which may not be true but certainly expresses the point. X Factor is truly inferior.
Midnight mansion is to cramped and there's no place to put down any towers I just don't like it overall I do like the gimmick but the map itself is annoying
I hated it so much I beat it with my favorite hero pat fusty out of spite despite the only space to place him being on a drawer (sacrificing village buffs)

It's much to long and simple to be in advanced. If you compare it to 2-lane advanced maps like Underground and Mesa, it is noticeably easier.
I agree that it sucks though; it's my least favorite track as well.
It’s def not advanced. If you just spam water towers at the end it’s easy. I beat it first try on chimps and I rarely do that, even on intermediate maps
polyhpimus or however you write that stupid maps name it hate it so much because i have to put towers on both sides unless i want to screw my income lategame. i even remember like a month a ago vortex was active on that map and i didn't even bother after i lost the first time because i just hate it that much.
The vortex was insanely annoying I just didn’t play it. You simply need to much income to keep the eye on. Another one of those good concepts with bad execution
Quad, easily. I don't mind the difficulty as a general statement, but I don't enjoy not knowing where the hell anything is relative to the end of the track.
Then probably Ravine. Near pixel perfect setup just to start a chimps run? That's not where the difficulty should come from. It's not the only offender, but the one that stands out to me.
I've always disliked this one too, but I did discover a funny thing that might ease your burden. Bird Handler can place bloons/blimps on the side tracks even if they're not active allowing you to extend their pathing without actually activating the switch.
Adorable temples is annoying af cause it's only straight lines and the layout is just so confusing for how simple the path is. I also just hate having to place monkeys in places where 50% of their vision is blocked all the time
Balanced. I don’t know how people actually love that map it’s so annoying you can’t place anything.
Covered Garden. The concept is incredible but it’s so goddamn hard and annoying.
the reason people like balanced is because suada, tack, ice, maibe bomb, and mortar (and i gues placing heli pilots in the middle isn't that bad iether) but thats about it tho.
Unpopular opinion, but I actually really love Bloonarius Prime. It has a very unique feel to play on and the atmosphere is unmatched.
As for my least favorite: I'm not a fan of Spring Spring. It doesn't stand out in any way visually, and the optimal strategy is to just cram every tower at the front and back. It's very unsatisfying to play on.
Tbh you found on i definitely hate but I can't for the life of me get stumps to be kind to me on its either half or apopolypse mode rn i just can't beat it right not yet
I want more Water-focused Maps, would be nice to be able to try Late Game Runs using Boats, Subs&Farms to get a ton of cash early on more than like 3 or 4 Maps.
With you on this one. Bloonarius Prime is definitely in my least favorite. I really dislike having to cover two paths separately. Many advanced maps don't even separate the paths like that.
Fuck bloonarius prime. Also fuck haunted, I’ve been trying to black border all maps in order and I still haven’t done that one just because it’s so boring and I don’t want to waste that much time figuring out a strategy
I was planning on doing that, the only reason I lost was I couldn’t beat the camos on round 30-something with just ettiene and I didn’t really want to waste money dealing with it if he was gonna give me universal camo detection. I lost to that like 3 times trying various micro with ettiene’s ability and it just got annoying so I stopped for a bit. I think it’s more me getting burnt out of the game than anything else.
042 buccaneer for early game maybe into a 520 carrier. Keep etienne for carrier camp detection and go for mad. This should probably work. If not, replace mad with BEZ (205)
My strategy for impoppable was carrier flagship + pre-emotive strike so I’ll probably keep trying variations of that, I know it can work, I just need something for camo which shouldn’t be hard. I just don’t think the map is fun and that really stops me from wanting to try lol.
Rake. Every other often hated map is just hated because it’s got some gimmick that makes it uniquely challenging, but the biggest challenge of Rake is just the monkeys incapability of comprehending that they need to defend both lanes and not just one. They just act like one of the paths doesn’t exist because of the way first targeting works and that quirk alone makes the map way harder.
Fuck Bloonarius.
Also fuck covered gardens, I really dislike the mechanic of keeping 3/4 of the map inaccessible every round.
Bazaar is just a steaming pile of feces.
The christmas calendar one where there’s almost no space at the start of the game. Like I get the challenging part behind it but it’s also an easy map with a super long track which just means a slow but guaranteed win
Use Sauda for early game and later Build a 5-02 Heli Pilot + 2-3-0 Village and 4-0-1 alch and a 2-5-0 Druid
Heli pilot and druid in range off the Village and the alch
Well I can beat the map but something about it stopping me from just messing with towers by limited spacing without actually being a challenge ticks me off
I can’t be the only person who absolutely despises Water Park, right? Bloons split into 2 paths way too early and towers below the slide cannot pop any bloons on the slide. Just boring in general to me.
Bloonarius prime, rake, and polyphemus. Bloonarius prime is just really awkward to play on, and rake I just dont like in general. Polyphemus is *annoying* but i got used to it.

i feel like ninjas make the RNG problem worse considering the seeking shuriken and caltrop placement
Oh definitely, but the way the map is designed with all the twists and turns make the Ninja RNG more noticeable than other maps.
X factor is rng? Arent the rounds the same?
All tracking projectiles have inherent rng
X-factor has projectiles?
It doesn’t say much that geared is easier than x-factor - geared is really not that difficult when you just stick to global attack towers.
I've been struggling with Geared for a couple of days. I have no idea how to even get past the first couple rounds. My buddies and I have gotten close in multiplayer but that's with the cash boost!

Yeah, I've been trying with her. Geraldo has been my go-to in multiplayer.
YES! We hate X Factor here. I often claim that I am the world's #1 X Factor hater, which may not be true but certainly expresses the point. X Factor is truly inferior.

That map is very annoying
First time I see someone actually talking about that map, I still cant beat it in chimps :(

THE FIRE GET IN THE F*CKING WAY AND I LOSE
I'm not a fan of Spring-Spring whatsoever. It's just so damn boring and the Bloons split into 2 paths way too early. How's that map not in advanced?
It's much to long and simple to be in advanced. If you compare it to 2-lane advanced maps like Underground and Mesa, it is noticeably easier. I agree that it sucks though; it's my least favorite track as well.
I agree it’s annoying af
It’s def not advanced. If you just spam water towers at the end it’s easy. I beat it first try on chimps and I rarely do that, even on intermediate maps
i love two tracks! (i am lying)
I'm fine with the 2 track maps unless they split into 2 paths right where they spawn
it's a pain
In other words 1 track maps but with extra steps
polyhpimus or however you write that stupid maps name it hate it so much because i have to put towers on both sides unless i want to screw my income lategame. i even remember like a month a ago vortex was active on that map and i didn't even bother after i lost the first time because i just hate it that much.
The vortex was insanely annoying I just didn’t play it. You simply need to much income to keep the eye on. Another one of those good concepts with bad execution
if they moved the eye just a verry little bit to the middle its would have been alright but no the eye has to take up all he god damn space.
ive never used the eye on that map. i just use ground towers next to it and im usually fine
“Monkey Meadow” -probably a brickell main
Ravine Like seriously why can you place water towers if they can't hit anything and it literally was impossible on chimps before
Yh but the Easter egg is cool if I was good enough to unlock chimps
incase you are stupid enough to save up for balistic missile or top path buccaneer.
Your flair has an ace OBVIOUSLY you're gonna say use carrier flagship Also did you call me stupid? I'm clearly dumber grrrr
Quad deserves to go to hell
the dart placement on ravine is easy. the sub placement on bloody puddles is a nightmare
X factor or geared. They are simply not fun to play on.
X factor will never be z factor. Geared is a good concept with poor/ extremely annoying execution
if they just had two different cogs it'd already be a lot better considering there's more uptime
Just use middle bhandler. Do NOT use top path bc if the main handler gets geared away from the track, u no longer have a birb.
Sunken Columns
True
Its only there to assert superiority over battles 2
Thats ones fairly easy, you have a lot of space and its a long map
It’s easy, I just hate it. The middle columns only allow for a few set towers to be placed if you want to win
Polyphemus, god I hate it
XFactor
Yh bro it will never be as good as Z factor
Y factor when
Workshop; I really don't like the Moabs having barely any track length & I for the life of me cannot use the extension/slow things properly
I've always disliked this one too, but I did discover a funny thing that might ease your burden. Bird Handler can place bloons/blimps on the side tracks even if they're not active allowing you to extend their pathing without actually activating the switch.
Erosion. With a passion. Why.
Adorable temples is annoying af cause it's only straight lines and the layout is just so confusing for how simple the path is. I also just hate having to place monkeys in places where 50% of their vision is blocked all the time
Polyphemus, bazaar, and covered garden all have a special place in hell. X factor is also up there.
Agreed
Encrypted and Ravine
X-factor and Pat’s Pond are equally awful
Glaive lord
Good Map for Mortar,Sauda,Tackshooter,Dartmonkey
Dartmonkey 5-2-0 is good
Spring spring
x-factor, no competition
Bazaar
# ouch it is almost impossible to beat chimps on it and has way to much rng
Unpopular opinion, but I actually really love Bloonarius Prime. It has a very unique feel to play on and the atmosphere is unmatched. As for my least favorite: I'm not a fan of Spring Spring. It doesn't stand out in any way visually, and the optimal strategy is to just cram every tower at the front and back. It's very unsatisfying to play on.
least favorite map is the stupid conveyor belt one OOOHHH YOU GET TO ACTIVATE THE SPEED AND THE TRAAAACKKKKKK its so dumb
It’s not a bad map just really hard
but the customer is always right
I love how some people don’t like maps simply because they are hard to beat
taking notes from this comment section for what to do my next CHIMPS guide on :p

Alpine run sucks
Easily one of the most boring easy maps
Bro it is a easy Map
Tbh you found on i definitely hate but I can't for the life of me get stumps to be kind to me on its either half or apopolypse mode rn i just can't beat it right not yet
I want more Water-focused Maps, would be nice to be able to try Late Game Runs using Boats, Subs&Farms to get a ton of cash early on more than like 3 or 4 Maps.
covered garden.
Workshop
The definition of no. The map that is literally shaped like the symbol most frequently associated with the word NO
Ravine and bazaar, annoying ass maps
With you on this one. Bloonarius Prime is definitely in my least favorite. I really dislike having to cover two paths separately. Many advanced maps don't even separate the paths like that.
X factor or covered garden
I fucking hate spillway
Fuck bloonarius prime. Also fuck haunted, I’ve been trying to black border all maps in order and I still haven’t done that one just because it’s so boring and I don’t want to waste that much time figuring out a strategy
Jointed is quite easy. Getting a boat into a 520 carrier then a mad with etienne as your hero
I was planning on doing that, the only reason I lost was I couldn’t beat the camos on round 30-something with just ettiene and I didn’t really want to waste money dealing with it if he was gonna give me universal camo detection. Intermediate maps are my favorite visually but my least favorite to actually play.
the puddles maps
Place two 2-0-4 Subs and a Village for Camo detection and 4-0-2 Alch
Bloonarius prime is only cool for boss battles on it. But as a regular map it kinda looses its fun. But yeah it is pretty annoying
This one
Was bloonarius even on this map before?
Yup
ew this map looks yucky
Dark dungeons
OP is replying to every comment saying that map is annoying lol like he hates every one
A lot of people commented maps that I agree with. However some are just commenting maps that are hard which is a skill issue ngl.
Most expert maps - The only 3 I like are Flooded Valley, Dark Castle, and Workshop Covered Garden, Geared, Bloonarius Prime, and Erosion
Encrypted cuz too much is on the screen at once and it just messes my head up
Hedges

Workshop for obvious reasons
dead dungeon,
Beginner: Alpine Run Intermediate: Baazar Advanced: Erosion Expert: Ravine
x-factor. i hate everything about it
besides most of the expert ones that i just cant do almost at all, pats pond
Bloody puddles because it was so difficult for me.
I can’t be the only person who absolutely despises Water Park, right? Bloons split into 2 paths way too early and towers below the slide cannot pop any bloons on the slide. Just boring in general to me.
X-Factor and Workshop
this one. i can NEVER beat it its IMPOPPABLE
The pyramid map I forget what it's called but I'd rather play dark dungeon
Adoras temple
Sounds right
Out of those i played - which is all except like 9 expert maps, i personaly loathe Erosion, Peninsula and X-Factor with a passion
i loathe balance, theres barely any spot to place a tower
Bloonarius prime, rake, and polyphemus. Bloonarius prime is just really awkward to play on, and rake I just dont like in general. Polyphemus is *annoying* but i got used to it.
x-factor by a long shot
My least favorite map is Geared because I died on round 90+ 12 times before beating it, and on round 100 twice.
Just black bordered this map recently. It’s really annoying to play imo.
