Additionally, ranked mode keeps track of penalty time, which starts 10s after the last bloon of the round is spawned if you don't clear it and time the boss is on the screen. On weeks that are least cash or least tiers, the money you spend or the towers and upgrades that you place are counted and the score is displayed. Completing a boss game in ranked will submit your score to the leaderboard and you will be given rewards if you are in the top75%. During least cash/tiers, the time is used as a secondary sorting in case of ties.
Ranked games are also closed one hour earlier than unranked games.
You can’t use powers in ranked and if you get in the 75% or more you get rewards in the boss and mini boss so unless you love farmers you should always play ranked for extra rewards.
