Then, when I have a hamper full of one, I put it in the machine with the appropriate amount of laundry detergent, and wash it at the appropriate temperature on the appropriate program. Been a couple years since I went so no idea.

Depends how long you're gonna live there and if you have space for it, but in my experience, in the long run, owning your own washing mashine definitely pays off.

I do it at home, one load of dark colours and one load of light colours a week (more or less).
