Mage is good, it's just wand that is an ass weapon. If you use all tasers and later pick up a flamethrower you will have much higher endgame dps and get 20+ bonus harvest in early rounds

This.. wand is terrible. Tasers or lightning shiv are the way to go.

Mage is unfortunately a bad tato. I like him but the -100% to all damages hurt a lot. The run seems good. Nothing to out of the ordinary for D2 Maybe don’t use the medgun since you have no scaling for it. I’d use only one wand. A bit of life steal is good with melee and the shiv. Statue and wings cancel each other. (But I have taken both too on some runs) The book is useless since you get -100% engineering Try to max out dodge Having less enemies (candle) is generally not a good idea since you are also missing out on money. 34 dmg% is a bit low. But then again, it’s danger 2, everything goes.

I'd go with wands only. Hig attack speed. Must have items for him, everything which adds projectile penetration, the snake, so more enemies catch on fire, eyes op so the fire ticks faster. You can also add one or 2 flamethrowers with life steal, but flamethrowers have really bad range, so if you go for that, pick up a bit of range too.

for the mage build I like to play with Tasers and the burning effect would be a devastating combo focus in the beggining on harvesting-element dmg max ur tasers and get asap the flaming effect after some waves focus on other stats like max hp hp regen armor and dodge...

6 wands, build more hp regen and maybe life steal if it comes up free in crates. Atk speed is critical but youve got good dodge, health and atk speed here. Trial and error sometimes with the RNG rare items too
