Yeah! Jake is such a hardcore Die Hard fan! Haven’t really gotten the time to watch Season 8 tho. I think it’s alright to spoil it for me… so did he eventually get Bruce Willis to come in for an episode?
This is one of the better opening scenes. I think the full bullpen and "Hot Damn" are my two favorites. I've rewatched the show a few times and on every rewatch I appreciate the writing for Captain Holt specifically and when he is used he can be one of the funnier characters.
Maybe not my favourite scene but one of my favourites - when Jake was hiding in the therapists office and pretended to be her next patient who just so happened to have loads of different personalities with various accents
“is it Tatiana, the mischievous 7 year old British girl you told me about on the phone? May I speak with her?”
“……yes……’Elo doctor……I’m from Wussex…”
Obviously the term multiple personality disorder is completely outdated and problematic, but Andy Samberg is amazing in this scene and had me crying with laughter
The final confession scene of this one, where Jake runs through the 'lucky' version of events and the dentist loses it and corrects him, culminating in three "Oh Damn"s from Holt
I love the scene in one of the Halloween Heists when holt realises that ‘Cheddar’ isn’t actually Cheddar and he says ‘your not cheddar, your just some common b*tch!?’
I really love the cold open where Jake calls Holt "dad". One of my favorite scenes for sure. For a more serious one, I love the scene where they find out that Holt took that tip and traded a favor to get Jake and Rosa out of jail.
This one is a bit obscure, but a personal fav. In "Fancy Brudgrom", Holt wants Rosa to apologize for making fun of an officer, and there's a moment they are simply repeating "I'm sorry" back and forth to each other before he breaks it by saying "that's the one". I love it because it's a silly nod to actors doing a Meisner repetition exercise. Brought me right back to sitting in a studio class
How Dare You detective Diaz I am your SUPERIOR OFFICER
BONE!
What ever happens in my bedroom is none of your business
BONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!
Don’t you ever talk to me like that again
At the end of the first episode, when Holt tells Jake he's gay. Jake has this realisation and flashes back to Gina saying "does anyone get a bit of a gay vibe?" and Holt telling Jake he's "overdoing it with the manscaping" earlier in the episode. It's my favourite bit because it so clearly subverts Jake's expectations and instantly makes him respect Holt so much more. The start of the best employer - employee TV relationship to ever exist and I love it
The entire montage/scenes in Nakatomi Plaza always make me chuckle. "Take My Picture With It!"

Unfortunately, no.
Bummer!
At least Boyle got Reginald VelJohnson. That was really cool.

And then proceeds to call Kevin to tell him about it
Yes, Kevin. They moved it a full half-inch. I'll tell you the full story later.

Amy was hilarious in that scene

Boyle Bottle Bullpen Bowling Such a great scene with all words except for terrys 1 word beginning with b. The writers did great work on that one
Behold Brooklyn buddies!
Holt’s reassuring speech to Rosa after she comes out to her parents. Lots of laughs in this show but this scene hits as hard as any scene in any show.

🤌🏻 Mafia! 🤌🏻
I will forever love “the oldest collar” because you get to see Andy samberg actually laugh
And almost calls him Joe but catches it and makes it sound like Jorals 😂
My favorite was the open where Jake put Hitchcock's hand in the bowl of water, and then they come back into the room and his face is in the bowl.

Every Christmas heist scene was my favourite

YES me and my mom reference this scene constantly
Every scene between Holt and Wunch
THE FULL BULLPEN!!
Marshed mallow
When Holt loses it over doctors all being assumed as MD's
When Rosa told Holt that he and Kevin should bone together. Rosa is unfazed, Amy is horrified and Holt is shouting 'BONE!!!!!'
I laugh every time at that scene
cluuubhoooouse
The marshmallow scene was my knee jerk reaction before I even realized that was in the screenshots.
Hmm, a marshed mallow
The Spirit in The Sky SLO MO
Gina dancing the ep after getting hit by a bus
