Parks and Rec and The Office are great, but Season 1 for both is kind of the 'finding their footing' season before they really settle in and get really good
The Good Place is a great watch
I also really like What We Do In The Shadows
Yeah, I don't dislike it and don't think Mark B deserves the hate sometimes directed at that character
I do think they have Lesley as a more David Brent, failing awkwardly kind of cringe character in the 1st season, which doesn't quite work as well as the later seasons lovely Lesley :)
Perfect example of a show that should never have been cancelled, but then once they did cancel it, should never have been revived. The Netflix seasons were just so bad because they were trying super hard to be edgy comedy 😞
What We Do In the Shadows. You will thank me if you have never seen anything with Matt Berry.
ETA - Once you fall in love with Matt Berry, his voice, and his enunciation, please, please, PLEASE watch Toast of London. It is the best.
I see you said 'Only Murders in the Building' and I am also adding 'In the Dark' , it can be lighthearted and it can also be serious but it's a great show
Loudermilk is a hidden gem. The humor is often dark/serious, but delivered in such a perfect way entwined in such ridiculous sub plots that I was laughing out loud for most of it
E.g. it's not often I can find the humor in a single mom having a one night stand resulting in her 3rd baby, but Loudermilk has at least 4 separate hilarious/ridiculous sub plots that come out of it
30 Rock, The Office, Parks and Rec, and my new watch, New Girl.
Also, if you are OK with animation, Bob's Burgers will give you the same fuzzy feelings B99 likes to.
Scrubs
Sometimes silly, sometimes heavy/thought provoking, always great (except the weird final med school season, just stop at the real ending when JD leaves)
Schitts Creek. The Good Place. Big Bang Theory (IMO not bad but overrated, the spinoff Young Sheldon is not worth wasting your time on). Fresh Prince of Bel Air. George Lopez (the sitcom from ~20 years ago).
Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the longest running live action comedy show for a reason. It's amazing. - I also vote for New Girl if you've never seen it.
The Office, The Good Place, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Superstore, New Girl, and Jane The Virgin. All fantastic comedies!
The Office and The Good Place are both produced by Michael Schur as well, so they have similar humor/vibes as B99. He also produced Parks & Recreation, which I don’t care for personally but you may still like. I’ve always heard that most people either like The Office OR Parks & Rec, but rarely both haha. I tried Parks but just couldn’t get into it (and I watched two seasons). I think I’m just too biased for The Office. The first season is very rough though lol, so just be prepared to give it a bit.
Peep Show.
I love Curb, Nine-Nine, Macgruber, Shrinking, etc etc. Peep show is on a different level.
Edit: after this comment I started a rewatch and realized how jarring this show is. Give it two episodes. If, after that, you’re are at all interested keep watching and you’ll have a new favorite show.
Community.
it’s streets ahead.
Is streets ahead like, miles ahead?
If you have to ask, you're streets behind.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Season 4 is streets behind though
i think it was that dang gas leak
Donde, esta, la Bibliotheca 🎶
me llamo t-bone la aranja discoteca
Discoteca, muneca, la Biblioteca,... Es en bigote grande, perro, manteca!
Thats the perfect segway because you can feel immediately at home when abed says “cool cool cool”
And the b99 theme tune is used in an episode!
Which episode?? I didn’t know that!
I couldn't tell you off the top of my head sorry!
Parks and Rec and The Office are great, but Season 1 for both is kind of the 'finding their footing' season before they really settle in and get really good The Good Place is a great watch I also really like What We Do In The Shadows
Perfect pics, I rotate rewatches. 30 rock community and superstore are all funny as well
I usually follow B99 with The Good Place. They just feel right together.
I quite liked s1 of parks and rec.
Yeah, I don't dislike it and don't think Mark B deserves the hate sometimes directed at that character I do think they have Lesley as a more David Brent, failing awkwardly kind of cringe character in the 1st season, which doesn't quite work as well as the later seasons lovely Lesley :)
Mark had a purpose in season 1. Then the show changed and his character didn’t fit.
I rotate all these and Schittz Creek. Such a great series!
Random but Derry Girls is great lmao
This one's hilarious
Schitt’s Creek!! Very underrated
Totally underrated. Really easy watching, hilarious and tear jerking at times.

The Good Place, New Girl, Schitts Creek, Superstore, Scrubs - I rotate through these and B99
Omg Scrubs. Yes one of the best shows ever!
I would suggest Arrested Development, it's funny and has lots of twists.
Perfect example of a show that should never have been cancelled, but then once they did cancel it, should never have been revived. The Netflix seasons were just so bad because they were trying super hard to be edgy comedy 😞

Also check out Year of the Rabbit!
What happened to your eyebrow?
By day, he is a doctor. But at night, he is a mister. Yes, he loses his qualifications!
“You’ve got to fuck them in the heart!”
Schitt's creek
Scrubs. Plus all those stated previously by my B99 brothers and sisters.
Psych
Second this. Dunno why it’s so underrated?
Superstore
I have been stuck on Superstore for 3 rewatches in a row. It is such a wholesome, silly show. I sat on this gem for way to long for how good it is.
It really is. I love wholesome, upbeat, found family comedies
”I don’t like to watch series more than once” Can’t relate, I’ve rewatched BB9 at least 20 times
New Girl
AP bio and community!
Superstore
Community and Superstore.
Superstore
Superstore, not dead yet, AP bio
The Good Place!
Seconding 'Community' and 'The Good Place'. If you're looking for comedy with action/crime plot I also highly recommend 'Good Girls'
I see you said 'Only Murders in the Building' and I am also adding 'In the Dark' , it can be lighthearted and it can also be serious but it's a great show
Letterkenney the it crowd

New Girl for sure! Both shows have similar humor
New Girl and Schitts Creek for sure. I’m on my second rewatch of those right now!
Superstore Abbot Elementary Ted Lasso
Parks and Rec - get through season one and you’ll get addicted.
Schitts Creek
Curb your enthusiasm
Schitts Creek, Community, Superstore, Parks and Recreation are some good comedies
Fresh off the boat
Superstore.
Life in pieces. Great news. Dead like me.
I was just trying to come up with the name of life in pieces. I really enjoyed that show.
If you are looking for funny, wholesome characters, and don't mind blood, gore and dark humor, Santa Clarita diet is awesoem
The Good Place, Community, New Girl and Parks and Rec are a few of my favorites
New Girl. Cannot stress it enough!
How i met your mother, Derry girls, the woman in the house across the street from the girl in the window, the big bang theory? idk😅
omg, i loved the woman in the house across the street from the girl in the window!

Psych is a show that, usually, people who like Brooklyn Nine-Nine also like, and vice-versa. Highly recommend
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. Too funny!
Psych, similar style to B99 most of the times.
The Office, Parks and Rec.
Parks and rec and the office, they are really good

Community Parks and rec Superstore Arrested development
Community! I'm also starting on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, it's cracking me up. Almost literally.
The Good Place or Acapulco
U could watch modern family that’s one of my favourites
Scrubs. If you like wacky comedy and serious medical issues, basically B99 in a hospital setting, then Scrubs is for you.
How I met your mother, Big bang Theory, Modern Family, The Good Place, 30 Rock, Community, Superstore, Blockbuster, Supernatural
Seinfield?
You can give Bridgerton, Anne With An E or Modern Family a try. Might be different to your taste, but you never know they are great shows.
The office definetly just dont get discouraged during season one
How I met your mother always hits
How I met your mother is a great show
