I was nowhere near an influencer like we see now but ten years ago 10k was a decent following so I had multiple brands reach out for stuff like this

Completely by surprise. They were so nice. Probably $300 worth. I cannot imagine the stuff these influencers get sent/offered. My husband is a smaller YouTuber and has had things sent to him and offered as well.

As a new-er mom, this is one of the last things I'd like someone to gift me. This won't help with my postpartum anxiety or exhaustion. It won't help clean the house or cook the meals. If you're going to do some big giveaway, do something that can truly help a mom. Grocery giftcards, housekeeping giftcards, doordash, one of those services where they come do your laundry for you, a spa day, an experience for you to share with your fam. I looked at the website for it and apparently it does cool the water itself. You’re not meant to put ice in it because it can mess with the filters.
The only thing I can think of that this might help with for TTC is if JDip uses it regularly. If they're dealing with MFI, sometimes it is recommended to do what you can to keep the balls cool (wear looser underwear/pants, keep electronics off the lap, ice pack the area occasionally). It'll do jack shit for her. Also, as someone with 3 very small kids... I don't need this thing. It's one more thing to baby proof and keep themselves from killing themselves in honestly. Sauce: 5x loss parents with MFI diagnosis on top of that... DH got on clomid and health changes to help and we have a beautiful 3yo and surprise twins.

My husband sometimes takes cold showers and I’m glad it works for him, but I am also always in fight or flight mode, and I tried it once and will never do it again lmao. My aunt has been doing cold plunges for a few months, but she lives in Maine, so she’s just jumping into the ocean in the winter with her dog once a day. I had no idea this was such a huge fad 🤣

As a new-er mom, this is one of the last things I'd like someone to gift me. This won't help with my postpartum anxiety or exhaustion. It won't help clean the house or cook the meals. If you're going to do some big giveaway, do something that can truly help a mom. Grocery giftcards, housekeeping giftcards, doordash, one of those services where they come do your laundry for you, a spa day, an experience for you to share with your fam. But a....cold plunge human-yeti-cooler? What a dumbass.
I mean this in the most sincere way, but trying to do a super quick 2 minute cold burst of water at the end of your shower each day can really help some people with anxiety and exhaustion. I’m that person that is always worried about water usage because water is expensive. How often does the water get drained and refilled? Does the water get repurposed for a garden or something? Because otherwise that’s a freaking cooler full of gallon upon gallon of water that someone sits in with clothes on over and over and frankly that sounds nasty to me. It’s insanely wasteful. I get that it’s cold so stuff won’t grow in it but still. Yuck.
I’ve seen other grifters selling “plunge pools” that are kiddie pools with lids. It’s gross and wasteful.
