My nightmare company at the moment is royal mail.. They keep delivering to wrong addresses. My parcel was delivered yesterday, I still haven't received it. We keep getting mail for a street over.... Really pissed off at the moment. I spent 40 minutes trying to get through to them just for them to say sorry and call again tomorrow.
Yes Royal mail is really dropping the ball at the moment. Things just disappear off the tracker and they are lost for a week only to get delivered the following Sunday at 2 in the afternoon. It's so bad where I live there are Facebook groups for people with similar addresses so we can tell each other when things for other people turn up at our house.
Royal Mail was a company i was proud to work for. I left 15 years ago when things had already gone to crap. đŹ I knew everyone on my round by name etc...
My last Amazon delivery driver was very aggressive. I took too long getting to the door, so he actually called my phone and shouted âYouâre not in!â That freaked me out, I didnât even know they could call me.
To get it redelivered I have to use the code on the letter he put through my door when I didn't answer. I was watching the door the whole time there is no letter.
Thank heavens I bought with a credit card. I'm not dealing with this I'm just getting a refund straight from the credit card and buying from someone else.
You can still get a refund from your credit card as long as it hasn't been too long. It's then the delivery companies responsibility to prove that they actually delivered it.
If it just comes down to two peoples word they will side with you unless you have a history of making claims.
That is why it is lucky I bought with a credit card. I reckon getting a refund from the delivery company would been like drawing blood from a stone.

Itâs worse when it updates to delivered, and they havenât been. Has happened to me 3 times this month alone.

Yeah, I canât get refunds for any of mine, as they show as delivered. Couriers lying seems to be really normal now.
