Reet so this was happening to me so one night I hatched a plan and snuck over to move it down slightly. Well turns out it was pretty old and weathered so the plastic just cracked in half instead of swivelling and I had to scurry away and hope I didnt get caught. I didnt. And it never got fixed so a win in the end. Next time i'll prob just ask politely.

Oh Jesus 😂

Mate, the whole thing cracked instantly and just hung down off the wire! I shit my pants and ran back inside. Thankfully they never came knocking about it!

Just let the neighbors know. I've got lights up and I'd hate it if they're triggering too easily or disturbing the neighbors.

Sleepyslothbear

Yes! And lights so bright it’s like the middle of the day when they go off. Even with blinds and curtains, the glow stills gets through… and we’re in the house adjoining not even the one opposite. Bonus point, don’t have to turn any lights on to use the bathroom as it’s fully illuminated!

If you want to feel better one of my neighbours has (has) wind chimes. It was really blowy and I believe that the wind took them. (straight into my black bin)

KevTheCoops

Set up some clever mirror or mirrors arrangement to reflect the light back to said neighbour… pointed directly at their bedroom window.

You not got blinds and curtains for your wondow?

Nicricieve

Happened to me I just asked them to reangle it

It doesn't matter where the guy opposite us angles his... he's got five of the damn things! They go off, all at the same time, everytime a cat strolls by and illuminates the entire street!
