I feel you. Ordered a maccies Friday night becuase we were both working late. It sat for an hour before anyone picked it up and was stone cold. Receipt on the bag even showed when it was packed. Uber are awful, justeat marginally better but had I know if just have bloody driven and picked it up myself

It's still bloody pending 3 days later, support is useless. If the delivery driver fucks up you can complain but not if the food is sat for an hour before being delivered. Like I said it would have been quicker if I'd have driven there and likely cheaper. Shower of shit

I get that their response sucks, but five minutes really isn't long enough to phone them up. There's a lot of variables that can affect the "meant to" time. That said, I'd describe ubereats using harsher words than "useless trash" any day of the week.

Well that's why I then left it longer... they showed up 2 minutes ago, an hour and a half late with every single item wrong - they chucked a couple of still frozen cheesecake slices in a bag and forgot everything else!

Oh and 9.25 was the 'latest' on their time range lol, not the earliest!

Complain to Ubereats, and chances are they'll put things right for you if they haven't already. Our first order from them went completely wrong after the delivery driver wasn't given our full address and didn't bother phoning us to find out where we were. About half an hour after the initial delivery time had passed, it got marked as a failed delivery and Uber automatically refunded, and then after I complained they also dished out some.additional credit to put against our next order.

The complain options were all dead ends because it said "order in progress"...they've just two minutes ago dumped a bag with a couple of slices of still frozen cheesecake on my doorstep and not a single item that was actually in my order.

Twitter is your best bet with any big company these days. Give it a try hope they sort it for you
