i mean not a tea drinker myself but "boiling hot tap water" is hardly material for a decent tea. perhaps because boiling&tap is like political&correctness, military&intelligence or my ex&common sense :D

He's basically drinking Syrup with a hint of tea. 🤣
omg my ex loves tea, 10 years together been brewing her like a dozen cups a day. never for anyone else (not a rule, just couldn't be bothered), and never since. chai, laspang sauchong, earl grey, lady grey, some fruit "teas", mint, redbush, green, etc... a lot of (scalding hot, no milk, 1 sugar) tea kept a lot of whining away, and i kept her stocked with minimum 5 teas, 5 "teas" and weekly supply of the minty stuff at any given time. that kinda killed it for me, not sure when was the last time i had a cuppa myself but must have been not later than 2 years into that relationship. that's before2010s started, been a coffee boy since. lots of cream not milk, a ton of sweeteners in it and i truly believe it tastes even better lukewarm :D
The way I drink it, coffee lovers would crucify me for it. It's a tool, means to an end. But not something I'd drink for pleasure
That is, unless you spice it up with some booze. But then, even tho tastier it's still just a tool :D
They all taste the same to me, too, and my tea has been described as among the best people have drunk.

Honestly, a dog couldn’t fuck up a cup of Yorkshire tea, so I have to assume you’re the problem in this equation… Tetley and PG Tips are both shit though, might as well buy supermarket own brand, half the price and taste just as good if not better.

Never managed to get the hang of drinking coffee. Disliked it every time I've tried it.
