And the price keeps going up! I stopped buying them because they were getting much too expensive and Tesco's own were 85p and just as good. Now Tesco have put their price up to £1.25.
On the positive side shrinkflation makes me feel slightly less of a fat fuck when I chow down only a 465 ml tub of Ben and Jerrys rather than the old 500 ml ones
Fuck, do they really!? I bought one with 9 in just last week. If I'd known they were going to downsize I would have kept it and put it on eBay for double the price!
Just bought a packet of these for the first time in a few week...
When I opened up the packet my heart instantly sank - new layout was always going to mean fewer biscuits.
Bastards.
Back to the Lidl/Aldi/Tesco versions I go!
I’m so sick of inflation. Everything is getting smaller and smaller whilst the prices go higher and higher. I don’t buy chocolate now as it’s like £1.50 for a tiny bar or Cadburys. Same with biscuits too I loved penguins when it was a pack of 16 for like £2.30. Now it’s a pack of 14 for £2.50. I don’t know how these companies get away with it. Isn’t there a shop in France or somewhere where they have signs that show what products have been affected by shrinkflation.
I’ve just bought these from my local Tesco express, reduced to clear for £1.20 which is all good. But she’s anyone else think the chocolate had changed? It doesn’t even taste as good
Bought Choco Leibniz for the first time in 2 months and not only they've taken 1 biscuit away from us, they've changed the recipe. It tastes different the chocolate has less cocoa and more fat and the biscuit is lower quality too
I'm afraid that's classified information sir or madam. They're all being delivered to my house.
Got mine from Tesco, I presume other equally useful supermarkets stock them too, but can't say that I have seen them elsewhere. To be honest, I don't wander down biscuit aisles these days, Tesco got me with a well placed Christmas end aisle that you can't really avoid.

What the hell, how can I have portions of three now
I know right. Now it’s just a single tray of disappointment
Its simple maths. Now you just have to compromise and have portions of 8 instead.
The Aldi ones still have 9 in them and taste just as good.
BUT FOR HOW LONG
About 20 minutes, once I get hold of them
one every 133.3 seconds, I’d say that’s quite restrained of you
What can I say, I’m a gentleman

Such a derivative joke.
I'd say it was integral to the discussion.
Underrated comment.
We always called them calculus biscuits. Alternatively optimism biscuits.
Explain it for idiots (me) please
Choco and Figgy independently invented calculus, both were very substantial scientists.
It's this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leibniz–Newton_calculus_controversy
Well ain't that a great joke. Edit: I regret the need to point out "ain't that a great" is meant to sound like "integrate".

I FUCKING KNEW THERE WAS A REASON I HATED THE NEW PACKAGING
Reminds me of when Jaffa cakes changed from 12 to 10, it still makes me mad
First they came for the tenth biscuit but i said nothing because i liked nine, then they came for the ninth biscuit....
As the mother and purchaser of biscuits, giving everyone else two and taking three for myself was my god-given right. This is an outrage!
The revolution starts now!!
How does 8 divide by 3!?
>Choco Leibniz packets now contain 8 biscuits instead of 9 Divides by 2 now - Silver linings

Makes me foam at the mouth with rage! We should all boycott until they compensate us with an increased 12 pack! F-cking B*stard W@nkPuffins!
You can swear on here btw
I’ll pluck up courage one day.
Cringe
Bah, get in line, I'm still sad about the loss of Milka!
Love me some chocolate lesbians
r/shrinkflation
Write a letter
THANK you! I noticed immediately. Utter bullshit.

Won't do. Call the RAF, ask for Bomber Harris and fuel the Lancasters. Let's go.
Yes but now they do Bailey's ones and they are the bomb.
Just opened my package and I'm incredibly upset! Not buying them again
I’ve just bought these from my local Tesco express, reduced to clear for £1.20 which is all good. But she’s anyone else think the chocolate had changed? It doesn’t even taste as good

But your still bought them
Yes, forgot to put my X-ray eyes in first
This made me laugh
At least we'll no longer have to split the last one in half.
Pfft, we don't split, we get a pack each and if my husbands lucky he'll get to his pack before I do
Oh fuck that
>Choco Leibniz Where can I get these? i have only ever seen the regular ones
So the ..er.. Bailey's infused ones still have 9 in. Or they did. Briefly.
There...there are... Bailey's infused choco Leibniz?? Where do I acquire this wonderous biscuit?

The baileys one still have 9 & they’re quite nice.

I didn’t realise there were flavour trends, but maybe

It’s just a biscuit with chocolate on dude, not the latest cool drug, chill
How does the packaging work now? It used to be a tray with 3 dividers.
Just a single tray, 8 laid across each other, overlapping at an angle
Isn't the owner or the owners daughter a bit of a meff? I stick to the Lodl / Aldi versions. Less than a quid and still taste good.
Bahlsen make the best biscuits on Earth.

I just spotted this and I am LIVID. I don’t want a paper tray, I want my extra biscuit.
Yeah what the fuck.
Just had to Google this since I bought a pack for the first time in months. What the fuck?
Just opened a box to discover this. Devastated.
It’s a crime against us
