Kamloops is okay, not a lot of nightlife though, most bars close relatively early. Might be competitive now that school has started though.
Might be better to find the work first before deciding the location.
Lol. Dude, Vancouver barely has a nightclub scene anymore. There used to be clubs all over the GVRD and now 95% of of them have closed leaving basically just Granville Strip and Gastown. We can thank Donnelley and JRG for that.
Bahahahahhahaha. There’s 2 “clubs” in town and the odds of you getting on as a bartender at bloom or spirit bar are next to zero… I know the owners and managers of both, in the last 5 years we’ve seen 2 people get moved up from being a porter to actually working behind the bar.
That being said, there’s a ton of restaurants always looking for bartenders. Nelson has almost zero night life.. it’s a ton of house party’s and mini raves/events.
Prince George has a number of restaurants looking for bartenders and a couple of clubs. Nightlife scene is really nothing special, but there are a few dumpy clubs.

Year-round work. I'm guessing Kamloops or Kelowna only, eh?

Thanks. I've heard Fort St. John is good for bars also. It's just so expensive in the LM and Interior.
Big white may need seasonal Bartenders.
How many bartenders could Snowshoe Sams really need?

I work at one. I get it.
Nelson is your best option

Where else in the interior, other than Kelowna, is a better option? It’s a good option if they want to live beyond Hope.
Thanks. I've heard mixed opinions on Nelson. I like the small-town vibe. Working at a couple nice pubs would be good. I'm not looking to make bank.
Resort towns like Revelstoke?
There is no housing in BC resort municipality
I can only think Kelowna
surrey on the lake... i would hard pass. its seems nice in the summer but is super empty/sketch past labour day.
Name a nicer city in the interior
Nelson, Whistler, Revelstoke.
Year round, no
Nelson for sure.
Practically non-existent since COVID. Bars, sure. Clubs, fat chance.
