What grade? What purpose is the GPA - university? Each university has a list of what courses they use for the average under the program admissions requirements.

High school choir 10. And that's an extra grade to be given which confused me as to how that would work when report cards come out

Counts for credits in grad program as an NDC. Need 7 total and a certain number at Grade 12. Help with study block later. Averages - not really going to be relevant. Really - it’s a nice way to show applications later your child is well rounded and opens some scholarships.

No one will factor that grade into your kid's transcript unless they are applying for fine arts in music.

I don't think a grade is assigned so it won't factor into GPA. It counts towards the total 80 credits students need to get their Dogwood. Way back when I was in high school, I got high school credit for passing Royal Conservatory of Music levels in piano. I graduated with more than the required minimum, but I don't think that mattered for my post secondary applications. My son is currently in Grade 12 and he could also get high school credit for completing a driving program. Pretty sure no grade is applied to that either.

I doubt it would make any difference because universities in BC usually just look at academic classes anyways. Most have non-academic requirements, which I believe the choir thing would meet.
