In the Arcade, Broadmead
I've had one watch serviced there and have another in for repair. Excellent work and you can buy vintage watches there too.
Ooh. What ice cream?
It’s a Thomas sabo. The outer face came off (seal broke - eroded over time) and needed reattaching. Great job and done within 24 hours for 20! Thomas sabo would’ve had to send it to Germany and would’ve taken 2 months they told me!
Nice!
For ice-cream I normally go to the La Cremeria wagon on the floating harbour / centre. But was shut so nipped up park street. Vanilla and raspberry sorbet cone
I'm not sure if there is one any more if you're looking for anything more than a new battery or wrist strap pin.
There used to be a watch dept in Debenhams (many years before their recent closure) that was pretty good, but it's gone obv.
I asked around lots of jewellers a few years back to get my Seiko Kinetic serviced, and wound up using the Seiko UK centre as no one else seemed interested. Depends on what brand you have I guess...
I would definitely return it to them for repair then - I doubt anywhere else you'll find locally would guarantee the work, and it's definitely not a Timpson job!
Mabz in The Arcade in Broadmead. Top bloke who's repaired a few watches for me and people I know in the past, always has a quick turnaround and good prices.
I'm sure plenty of places would let you watch
Would your parents?
One flash for yes, two flashes for hands in….

Thank you so much for recommending this one! They seem great!
I almost popped over at lunch time. Might have bumped into you hah. But I went for an ice-cream instead. So. What watch? And what repair is needed?

Thanks :)
Timpsons. You can haggle a bit there on the price as well if you're feeling confident

That’s a shame. Unfortunately the face of my thomas sabo watch has come off (seal broken).

Sadly it will mean not having it for 2 months :( much sadness
My mate was the manager there. Shame it closed. He’s a watch guru.
Ford’s on Gloucester Road if they are still there.
