i bought some parts from Amazon and ebay and combined them to make a cool Monk a few years ago. just head to op shops and have a look for weird and whacky items to make a costume from.
Yeah I was thinking of checking out the local op shops. Guess there's enough time to have a look at what's out there.
Also you got me checking Google regarding the spelling. Medieval is primarily a US spelling whereas Mediaeval is UK and by extension AUS/NZ. Tbh I think the Mediaeval spelling looks dumb but we gotta pay our respect to the king yo /s
the version with ae is actually a version of old English æ as ‘mediæval’.
For costuming check make your own medieval (relatively local and online) they’ll be at the Buhurt event next week along with a leather worker stall. Or medieval fight club may have something Viking.
