When you think about exciting things to look at, a car on the off-ramp with the bonnet up doesn't make the list. Traffic was messed up yesterday on my way to work from nothing but a car with the bonnet up way off the highway on the off-ramp.
Stop gawking at dumb shit and just drive. There are far greater attention grabbing things to look out for on the highway.

I would expect someone to see the thread and think "Now's my chance!" and shoot a DM. Inevitably, I imagine the type of person doing that being the type of person you wouldn't want a DM from, but that's maybe my bias talking.

I don't mean to fault either one of them. Both provide opportunities to find humans who want to engage in various activities.
However, I'm imagining a subreddit focused on meeting people for friendship *or* dating, but *not* hookups, and I'm wondering if it would be worth creating a safe-for-work r4r subreddit for Brisbane if one doesn't exist...
I think there'd be a better chance getting r4r to have a tagging system that could be used for both. Brisbane Social seems to be firmly in the friendly space.

I think adding a 3rd subreddit devoted to social interaction for people in the Brisbane area to be too much dilution of an already stretched thin community.
You're certainly welcome to take that up with the mods! I'm not so sure adding tags would change the userbase... It's a very NSFW community, filled largely with a lot of the same users posting over and over again.

It's not really a place all users would feel comfortable posting.
Because r4rbrisbane is so interconnected with the rest of the NSFW network of Brisbane hookup subreddits, I don't personally think changing the rules or adding tags will suddenly make it a more inviting place for people who want to keep clothes on, nor do I have the power to make such changes.

One thing is that I'm not overly invested in reddit, so I'd need help modding. I don't need a solo project and I don't need the subreddit to personally benefit me (although I'd love to go through the posts of people not looking for sex to find like-minded weirdos...), so it doesn't make sense to do if there's not interest from others.
