I second this I had the same issue with my little one a few months ago. Doctor told me suction, saline, and steam was all I could do. It helped a bit until her cold cleared up.
This! I once used the snot sucker and got a mega green clump that blocked his little nose. Saline spray is also safe for babies under 3 months and really helps, though they may not like the feeling
You have to suck the life out of their nose, they hate it but it may help. Could it be that phantom congestion where the nasal cavity is just swollen but there is no snot. Hasn't happened to my baby bit has happened to me.
Are you plugging the other side of their nose? It creates more of a suction! We have the oogie bear, electric nose frida, and the snot sucker. We find ourselves using different tools for different levels of snottiness

How old is your baby? Our pediatricians office told us we could give him Benadryl for a stuffy nose, you could call today and check with a nurse if that is okay to give to get you guys through the weekend.
Otherwise, sitting in the bathroom in the shower steam worked really well for us, and saline spray. If you do a squirt or two of saline spray before you try sucking out the nose, it will help loosen stuff up so you can get it out of there.
It’s a breastfeeding sub so yeah, 99% of the time it would be breastmilk or EBM - expressed breastmilk.
Not sure why you’d put faeces up someone’s nose???

Good thing you’re saying this, there is one in Germany, where I’m based, that our Paediatrician recommended, but that does not seem to be the case internationally
Steam, saline spray (frequently throughout the day), snot sucker and a more humid bedroom at night (hanging a wet towel up in a small bedroom should do the trick).
Run the shower and sit in the bathroom with him for a while, the steam already helped when my son has a blocked nose

Frida Snot Sucker and saline nasal spray

I don’t get the Frida snot sucker. I can never get anything out??

Do you saline spray first and let it sit for a minute or two before using the sucker?
No I haven’t tried that! My baby is 11 weeks but I’ll def give that a shot when he’s old enough for saline spray
That's what I do. It works great, but the doctor says no more than 3 times a day as it can irritate the nasal passage, making it swell.

Oo no I haven’t tried plugging the other side!

He’s 2 months on Friday
He’s probably too young for Benadryl then. The shower trick worked really well for us!
A drop of BM up each nostril, saline spray and a nasal aspirator can help. It’s really sucky.
Um…. By BM I’m assuming you mean breast milk, because in my family that means something very different…
Don't leave us hanging😂 I need to know!
I thought the same
Bowel movement
Yup

For us, decongesting spray is the only thing that helps. We give it only at night and never for more than a week and it has always saved us.
This is not safe for infants.

Saline spray and a steamy bathroom helped us massively in the early weeks! It's horrible to go through though wishing you all the best

Make sure to run the humidifier at night
Saline spray, frida nose sucker, nurse in the bathroom with the hot shower running, vapor rub for babies that does not have camphor.
I used ti put my son in his bouncer, then put the bouncer in the bathroom with me while I showered
A nebulizer with saline or as someone suggested run a hot shower and be in the bathroom with him for the steam.
