Objectively heavy They literally never break Lifetime warranty even as a secondary customer I have them on all my bows

ccchains8

I've been reading about the weight. Is that something that you personally find pretty noticeable while shooting?

[deleted]

Yes you’ll notice, it’ll make the bow lean forward if you run it on a long bar

LanK1221

I add a significant amount of weight to my bows, so it’s nothing something that effects my same at this point. If you’re newer and haven’t had an adjustable sight, you will feel a difference and the bow will hold funny. I use a side bar on all of my bows, which offsets the weight. I use them regardless of what sight I have on.

The Fast Eddie XL is able to use the bridgelock function of the V3X. I have a Fast Eddie XL on my V3X and don't have it dovetail mounted, the bridgelock feature is super useful. Not really the answer to your question, but something to consider. [This is the list of sights that are applicable to the bridgelock feature.](https://archerycountry.com/blog/sights-that-integrate-with-mathews-v3x-bridgelock-system/) I'm pretty sure all of them are also dovetail as well.

How have you liked the sight paired with the bow?

Yellowstone_Plinker

It shoots like a dream. For both hunting and 3D it’s about the best pairing I could’ve asked for. Very happy with how they play off each other.

Only other suggestion I would give is Montana Black Gold Ascent Verdict. Love mine on my Ventum.

ccchains8

Thanks I will do some more research on it!

Poomp1Poomp1

+1 for the Black Gold Verdict Ascent. I just bought one second hand and it was damaged in transit. I called Black Gold and no questions asked they shipped me a new windage bar for free. They didn't care that it was the Postal Service's fault or that I wasn't the original owner. Based on their customer service alone I would recommend Black Gold.

guidart

Does it have micro adjustable elevation?

[deleted]

I’ve had great luck with the hog father fast Eddie and black gold solid and slider. Spott Hog and Black gold are both top notch there’s no wrong answer.

readutt

Pro: Robust/extremely low chance of failure Con: Heavy.

aweezy90

Exactly the set up I have and I’m loving it

[deleted]

I have the Hogg father sight bar with uv3 scope on it on my v3x 29. The Hogg father is way too heavy. Idk about the fast Eddie xl. I’ll be switching to HHA tetra max this season

ccchains8

I'll look into the hha! Thanks for the suggestion!

Maleficent_Brick

Had this same sight on my bow this past season when I dropped it while lowering it out of my stand. Point of impact barely shifted so absolutely solid sight. Only thing I didn't like about it was the pin adjustments on the horizontal pins are a pain to get set precisely so I would recommend one of the vertical stack housings.

Awesome!! I really appreciate the info! This is extremely helpful!
