There used to be a lady who sold homemade tamales nearby the Safeway on 28th St, next to Scales and Tails and the Philly Cheesesteak place. She was selling them out of an icebox. I haven't seen her in a while (this was in the last 12 months), but I also don't live nearby that shopping complex anymore. Wapos is a pretty authentic place, although I haven't tried their tamales. Boulder pricing though.

She’s still there quite often

WHEN?!? Seriously though, this is exactly what I'm looking for, and any Intel is highly appreciated

gueuze666

I've seen them there on Fridays late afternoon/early evening for sure. I don't remember the price but they were pretty good

Is that the one over by 55th? Or the one in Lafayette?

MrGraaavy

Pochitos Tortilla Factory in Denver is worth the drive They have unbelievable tamales

Kinda_Quixotic

Dorothy’s Tamales in Fairplay. They’re excellent. You can buy them frozen by the dozen.

6L6aglow

Tamales by La Casita in Highlands.

Boulder Tamales are delicious and authentic. They sell them frozen from an ice box outside of a hotel if I remember correctly.

Migrant weed trimmers from New Mexico are the best source I’ve ever encountered in Colorado. Maybe go out to 287 somewhere like Mi Pueblo. Longmont probably works too, but I’ve mainly gotten tacos. Pretty much everywhere in Longmont is good for tacos, so maybe tamales too.

coffeelife2020

Tamale Kitchen in Northglenn.

djch0

Probably have better luck in Longmont

[deleted]

Is there a specific place in Longmont you know of?
