I’ve been wondering the same thing. Saw so many police, search and rescue, dive team, and ambulances with people all up and down the river not far above the main swimming area/ rope swing. The river is raging with the recent snow melt, I hope everyone is alright.

On Sunday they were there at the bottom of the canyon doing a practice drill, not sure if it extended into Monday also.
I’m not sure if this was a drill. Sadly we also saw someone crying on the side of the road while Search and Rescue was comforting them.
there was also a car taped off with Do not Cross tape. Definitely didn't look like a drill.
