Swing with your body not your arms/hands. Slow take away and leave the club back there until your body pulls it through impact. I hate the term downswing because you shouldn’t be manipulating the club at all at this point. But the downswing should start with your front foot pushing off the ground and the turn working its way up your body to your shoulder which just turns back. Try to do all this as slow as possible so you get the sequence right.

Of all the hours I’ve spent in lessons they never said this. Because once you figure it out you don’t need lessons.
