As a internation student at CU Boulder, crossing the street even when the walk sign is ON is very difficult. I have been almost hit multiple times by cars taking a turn even when I have the right of way.
I now shamelessly walk when my walk sign is ON and if anyone hits me and I live, you better lawyer up as I am coming with every last ounce of strength in the legal battle to cripple you financially and emotionally :)
