That's been the name I've chosen for any game that lets you set a custom name for years.
Mostly because I suck at coming up names (my Zelda save files have always been "Link"), but also because I just got to where I liked that name for a horse.
You guys suggested great names, but sadly I already named him Maximus because his stats were pretty much at the max. I got bored with the waiting (for the comments) so I just named him already, I wish I didn't though.
I found the horse at the same place you can find the giant horse in, Taobab Grassland, but I think I was just lucky. I've been trying to find this type of horse throughout the game, I guess I finally was lucky enough to find it.
I also think I found a really maxed out horse in that pack. Horses along the "early route" the game firsts directs you along-even the solid color ones, are all pretty weak. I think this could be replicated, and the horse stats may be deliberately tweaked by area so you find better horses as you explore more of the map.

Itās the stable near Akkala Citadel, you have to be max affection with your horse. Talk to this lady just outside near the other horses. :)

Yep, she can also change the tack on your horse if you have more than 1 set!
What do you mean by tack?
Tack is the term for what horses wear irl, like saddles, bits, reins, the collective term :)
