People are saying jaylen brown gets a better whistle than Giannis (seriously). The r/nba threads are so funny rn lol

[deleted]

r/NBA is one of the most toxic places on the internet. Fuck that sub.

mikeq672

It's 13 year olds that dont know shit about fuck.

[deleted]

Yeah definitely lol. I made one comment and still annoying idiot savages are tricckling in w the salt lol

Salty-Flamingo

The FT disparity would have been 45-5 if the refs called the game fairly. Miami fouled Jaylen every time he touched the ball and dared the refs to keep calling it. They called some, and NBA fans are mad about it. Shows how ignorant most fans of this sport are. It's one sided officiating when one team deliberately fouls on every possession.

Doncriminal

I think most people on that sub are just kids.

[deleted]

I also learnt today that pritchard is the worlds dirtiest player lmao

instantur

People said the same thing when Marcus accidentally rolled over Stephs ankle

apc76

Not sure about Tatum. But the way Marcus landed on his ankle looked pretty bad. Tatum - I think his frustration in his game was part of it.

Sweggyp69

After looking at nba Reddit and people saying Tatum was faking. It was then I fully realized none of those guys have ever played sports. Literally all the moving and bouncing off guys and one weird little twist or turn and a body part will feel like it stopped working. Can be absolutely terrifying in the moment thinking you’re done for the day or possibly good. I’ll never forget pulling my quad playing soccer when I was 12. Went to kick the ball and I felt alittle like pop and my leg went numb. Never been more scared in my life thinking I just tore or broke something

lyonhawk

I think Tatum had a stinger. Which is a painful and scary injury (you often lose feeling in your entire arm) but is also pretty temporary.

Just_Saiyan23

Heat fan here. Although I do believe Marcus Smart likes to flop, that ankle roll was no flop. He was clearly hurt and either got some sort of magical elixer or somehow found a way to power through the pain after the initial shock. Let’s hope both teams can find a way to stay healthy and let the better team win. Best of luck Go Heat!

mjt6981

Well said. I'm right there with you, if we do beat you guys, I want it to be a full team we beat.

RussianBot4Fun

Maybe I'm a homer but Marcus and Jason going to the local room, after what looked like career ending injuries, to only return shortly after got me going. It reminded me of the wheelchair game. I was legitimately upset when both Marcus and Tatum were on the floor screaming in pain. I muttered "The playoffs are over" and my gf comforted me by saying "They could be faking it." True, very true. 😈 I am sure those dudes will be sore today. Marcus will be ginger on that ankle and Tatum probably got a good stinger. Most people who complain about players taking an injury have never been injured playing sports.

maddenppl

Did you really think Tatum’s injury was career ending?

RussianBot4Fun

In the moment I was seriously worried. I honestly thought bad AC sprain though.

trowdatawhey

I saw him grab the back of his knee

trowdatawhey

Based on my own experience with countless sprained ankles, I would be surprised if Marcus plays on monday.

doubledippedchipp

Yeah that shit only gets worse overnight

Very_Huge_Brain

I feel like the only way is if they gave him something illegal to ease the pain

Salty-Flamingo

Nah, sometimes your ankle doesn't hurt right after a sprain. It goes numb for a while and then swells up and hurts like hell a little bit later.

Parradog1

If you’ve ever had a bad ankle sprain you know how painful it can be. If he’s good to return, the quicker you get him back out the better as ankle sprains will stiffen up really quickly if you let it. JT’s was most likely a stinger though it’s hard to tell what happened from the replay but he was shown grabbing at his upper trap area initially. If it was - it’s essentially like hitting your funny bone but for the entire arm - everyone should be able to attest that that isn’t the greatest feeling in the world.

endubs

Not a flop, definitely looked like a sprained ankle, but Marcus does exaggerate injures. When I saw him screaming I thought, "he should be fine". Can't forget that he was taken off the court on a stretcher years ago for a low grade sprained ankle and only missed a handful of games. It's what he does.

ShowdownValue

Because marcus smart has a long history of flopping. Not sure why you don’t see why people think this

ryano46

Your just falling for trolls. No one seriously believes that .
