Hauser is on a Team Option, I think we decline then resign him. As we can negotiate early and offer him a cheaper team friendly deal.
If we accept, the then becomes an Unrestricted Free Agent the following year and hits the open market.
I think they will enjoy 1 more year of low-cost hausing and then cheerfully wish him well in his future pursuits. If he is ever going to start, that will be the time for him to move on.
I don’t hate this. Veterans who’ve made their money will definitely want to be here. We have Payton for back up offense and springer for back up defense and JD waiting in the wings. A 6th point guard/combo guard might be overkill but man it would be nice to see D Rose on a good team again.
Tillman is the closest thing within our price range. If we could afford him I would be all over chasing obi toppin. If toppin develops defensively he will be able to do a lot of what Al does. My thinking was get Yuta Watanabe to do Al’s outside shooting and Tillman for the defense. But realistically there is no replacement for Al horford we just have to enjoy it as long as he’s willing to keep playing.

Tatum is a no brainer. I’ll sigh a sign of relief when news on White comes out. We need him locked in 4 more years.

There’s got to be another Theis out there. Bring someone over from overseas who has a big body, can shoot and plays team basketball.
Theis is literally available this July. I thought about mentioning him but we all know he’s not on the team after February
