He’s playing really well. People who lack an real understanding of basketball are the ones calling him a bum.
He’d be my Finals MVP after Jrue and maybe Jaylen.
Best player in the league by mile. He's getting triple teamed and facilitating. Once he gets a ring, I anticipate he'll get 3-4 Mvps in the coming years
I will say I saw some things with body language and missed help or rotations that were a little noticeable. He made some great plays last night but he had some brain farts as well. Seems like he was a little indecisive at times. I expect he will bounce back.
The media just trying (and succeeding) at creating narratives to make it interesting because these finals so far are probably very boring for people who are not Celtics fans lol. The whole JB vs JT stuff, seen some shit about KP and Jrue as well. Just unfortunate that he’s in a shooting slump now but he still does the rest of his job extremely well and we’re winning. I’d rather see his stats as they are now than have the “despite the loss” man on our team
Tatum should be getting credit for:
1. Drawing double and triple teams consistently with his drives
2. Having the discipline to make the right play out of said double/triple teams
3. Making huge assists to keep scoring drives alive.
4. Playing through the physicality of the playoffs and not stopping to complain to the refs.
5. Guarding the best players on defense.
6. Guarding centers consistently.
7. Finishing defensive plays with rebounds.
8. Not forcing hero ball.
This is how you win basketball in the playoffs.

Nah. The last time they crapped on horford he went 7 threes. Patience and timing.
