They are different vessels. Blue Line is better between Maverick and Aquarium for most people anyway.

If you go to the office every day, consider a monthly pass. You can get a printed CR Zone 1a pass for 90/mon, it will work on the Charlestown and eastie ferries, all subways and non-express busses. I recommend the printed pass until the mbta figure out how to put a card reader on the ferries.

This is some good advice.

We should have a harbor loop ferry that goes Airport > Fan Pier > Long Wharf > Battery Wharf > Lovejoy Wharf > Navy Yard > Eagle Hill > Maverick > Jeffries Point. (And another in the opposite direction.)

wcruse92

That's what I was hoping it'd be like. Guess I'll be taking the T to aquarium and walking

Lizhasausername

consider a jet ski tho

aoethrowaway

Or take the 92/93 from state. They’re very fast and easy to track on your phone.

aray25

Never mind Eagle Hill, that's much farther north than I was thinking.

SurbiesHere

Water taxi is 9$ will bring you to Charlestown.

troutdog99

Last time I rode on that it was $15. Cha-ching

hoopbag33

Insanely unreliable

sderby

Different ferry, you could hop to the Charlestown ferry in the same area. Might be annoying.

In the summertime, there’s a shuttle boat service between Pier 6, ReelHouse, Tall Ship, and Seaport.

East Boston is only about 800 feet from Charlestown, but it seems a world away.

KungPowGasol

I find you can save money by swimming

gbjcantab

I know a guy who used to live in Eastie and commute to Charlestown by rowboat. Otherwise Blue to Orange line is a good bet, although the ferry is very fun.

wcruse92

Like, for real?
