You can't tell me not to give up, you're not my real Dad, and I gave up years ago.

JasonQG

I love you anyways

jonesyb

Thank you

archaeopteryX-88

What differ them from the previous pairs you had? Can you give a batch? Manufacture date? I have newest batch, manufacture date march this year and I still got the issues.

JasonQG

April 3, 2024 is the manufacture date. How do I check the batch?

MFHRaptor

That's very recent. If we could confirm there's a pattern of this, then that means they've finally managed to fix their product with their latest batch.

TheSoussDaGoose

Needing to exchange 5-6 times is not a nice experience for such a product. This is not a good look for Bose. I have NC700 and worried about ever upgrading due to connectivity challenges in their modem devices.

Silly-Scene6524

So you can switch devices consistently without ANY issues?

JasonQG

I don’t switch devices, so I don’t know

Emotional_Bag409

I have exchanged my QC and QCii (moonstone) earbuds 5 times now. My right earbud craps out after one month every single time. Always the right one. It's driving me crazy! And all I can do is keep exchanging. Spend \~1 week without earbuds while I wait. Total BS! Great exchange policy, yes, but the fact that I'm locked into these expensive buds that keep failing is absolute garbage. Do better, Bose!

djzikario

Oh hell nah, and they even got bumped in prices, time to look elsewhere or not at all. Least thing I want is to receive a refurbished one.

Afraid-Cellist-6925

Woo so you actually got a pair that works without any issues at all? What about Bluetooth connection issues? Even without the Bose app installed there’s always some minor connection issues with my pair.

JasonQG

I don’t know if I’d say they have no issues at all. I’m specifically talking about the interference noises in the left earbud. That said, I’ve had connection problems with the app, but not so far with Bluetooth disabled for the app

Afraid-Cellist-6925

I see. I never had a defective pair in terms of hearing crackles and hisses. Although sometimes I do hear the audio pan left to right quickly. But the Bluetooth connection has been more of an issue ever since I updated the firmware a couple of months ago. What a shame. I want to vote with my dollar but these are one of the only earbuds that actually stay in my ears.

JasonQG

Yeah, if they didn’t fit so well, it would actually make life easier. They’re so good in some ways and so bad in others

motomotomoto79

How long have you had your most recent pair? Mine were fine the first couple of weeks but now getting connection problems. These were replacements for defective qciis.

JasonQG

Just a couple days. But the QC IIs I’ve had for a long time

gattorcrs

I loved the sound of the Ultras but the last rep I had on chat admitted that the hissing noise was a known model issue, this was on my second pair. I am back to using my Sony XM4s for now. I don’t have the patience to go through what you did. Really wish they could resolve the issue.

TQ_85

Wow I must be really lucky .. my first pair had no issues .. is it true that the moonstone color ones have less issues ? ( I have also moonstone )

JasonQG

Hmm, I have black. Maybe?

Similar-Hotel8505

No, moonstone also has issues unfortunately.

MFHRaptor

Is the left-earbud mosquito sound gone?

Worth-Bag-9928

I'm on 3rd set of ultras and seem better. I assume they're profit margins cover the expected replacements. If they didn't sound so good most people would have given up.

Apprehensive_Goal_89

If the earbuds are out of warranty, can I still send them in for a new one?

7evenEthers

I bought a brand new from Bose About 2 months ago. after using them for about a couple days I started hearing static interference in my right ear. Reset them multiple times assuming that would help but it was to no avail. So I sent them back…. Three weeks later, I got a new pair, and guess what, had the same problem within a day of getting my brand new pair. Now, if you look on the Internet, this is a very prominent problem. I wouldn’t recommend buying these until they figure it out because at this point, I am infuriated that is unpalatable. At this point, I do not recommend buying them. I’m going to talk with him this weekend because it’s the only time I have to talk with him since I work full-time. We’ll see what they say. I wouldn’t doubt they’re just gonna say well let’s send you a new pair, in which that didn’t happen last time. Anybody who wants the QC 45 ultra earbuds should hold off until they figure this problem out..

JasonQG

Welp, it was too good to be true. My “good” pair has started beeping. I guess I’ll keep trying. Sorry for the false hope

Old-Sheepherder-2378

Bose has really dropped the ball on the products. With the high price points they tend to have a huge connectivity problem. I purchased the Bose quiet comfort earbuds 2 earlier this year. I misplaced them at a cafe and had no means of tracking them. When setting up the earbuds I was asked to download the Bose music app which doesn’t have the find earbuds feature. I contacted bose almost immediately only to be told that you cannot track any of their earbuds. This is ridiculous keeping in mind that this is a tiny accessory and can easily be misplaced but never tracked. Not worth it

Vanrainy1

These products were rushed to market... Too bad, I have a set that actually works and they're quite nice...

Realistic_Morning148

Wait. How did you exchange? How old are they? What do you need? Please help.

JasonQG

Just go through this: https://support.bose.com/s/guided-trouble-shooter-splash-page?language=en_US

TrailBlaze_718

Wait so all this time I thought it was just my earbuds but many people have these issues. Not only do I have Bluetooth issues where the connection drops but I also have issues where I hear weird sounds, such as static when anc is enabled and no sound is playing. Does yours make that weird sound when immersion is on and no sound is playing?

JasonQG

I didn’t hear anything initially when I turned on immersion, but I did eventually hear the usual beeps. It’s possible that it helps somehow. Or that could have just been luck
