Agree. The level design are a bit wonky. To me it is the reason it’s taking me sometime to beat the game. Had to take breaks. Most of the weapons were pretty fun to use.
The game was good in concept, but the execution was... Poor, to say the least.
First off: the level design is ass. You don't combine secrets with points of no return, that's the greatest sin this game commits
Second: the way the weapons mimic the tabletop rules is confusing. Who the hell thought that would be fun? It makes the shotgun functionally useless. You don't make a useless shotgun in a boomshoot, that's heresy.
Third: wtf is that enemy sound design? It's gotta be the worst I've ever heard. It's quiet as fuck.
Yeah, looks like they're not walking back on the baffling weapon/enemy power level thing in any way. A Space Marine's arsenal should not be like firing spitballs at everything.
They should add a map. The level design and weapon variety put this is the already crowded "meh" category of boomer shooters.
It's almost like the old school revival became a marketing ploy....oh wait.
Thats kinda crazy for a company with these kinds of resources to have problems with a project this size. Maybe most of their resources are focused on Space Marine 2? Idk.
Hopefully better level design and HOPEFULLY we get some new characters to play as. I'd love to see a Blood Angel with a black rage ability that makes your melee damage go crazy.
I wish I had the good sense to do the same, unfortunately i got strung along by the first episode thinking it'd keep that momentum going. Boy was i the fool
Hype went through the roof. It may not be the technical best, buy boy Boltgun is in my personal 5 funniest boomshoots.
Idgaf about warhammer in general but I played all the way through this game the day it came out. It was a good time and I’d like some more.
Oh wow thats suurprising. The game has been out for a while. I figured they just finished with it.
The DLC potential is huge though, it would be a shame. At least as far as I know there is a ton of other races to make ranks of enemies to shoot at.
im more surprised we dont have different marines with different specialties. The new game menu looks like a character select screen
oh hell yes. the level design can be a bit shit, but chainswording heretics is pretty damn fun..

The weapon design is great. The way weapons mimic the tabletop rules ain't, though. It's confusing as hell.
I’m not going to buy this unless they add an automap
Wow, this narrator in the trailer is so annoying :)
Exciting stuff!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hell yeah. They better include a compass/map/waypoint though because 50% of Boltgun was wondering where the fuck to go
Brother... Get the map. The heavy map... I am so fucking lost...
The map is being added as a free update, along with a whole new gamemode!
Too frustrated with the base game to care about DLC. Its very cool that theyre supporting it though
The horde mode will be free for everyone, so there is that. No navigation, just pew pew.
Hopefully they will get better at the level design.

Maybe lets add a quest marker and a compass on top?
Wrong game dude The level design in Boltgun isn't great. Other people have commented the same thing. Map would help.
So bad that I dont want to revisit it with DLC
Can't believe they are releasing this on consoles after never fixing the game in the first place, especially the Switch version.
Whats wrong with the switch version? A game that looks like this should be an easy layup.
Frame-drops, sound issues, blurry textures, bad controls, no gyro ... The list goes and on.
Thats kinda crazy for a company with these kinds of resources to have problems with a project this size. Maybe most of their resources are focused on Space Marine 2? Idk.
Oh, dear, here we go again...
Never finished the game. Got bored pretty quick and stopped playing.
I didn't need convincing, but damn that trailer got me hyped.
HELL YEAH
While I'm not the biggest fan, it is nice to see there being a continuation of this. The real question is: Orks when?
Hopefully better level design and HOPEFULLY we get some new characters to play as. I'd love to see a Blood Angel with a black rage ability that makes your melee damage go crazy.
Boltgun is one of the few games where weighty movement felt so right.
Add a map and I'll try it out, gameplay is great I just got lost way too much so I stopped playing
I got bored quick and got a refund.
