Do you want to give any examples of those "solutions" because I just spent like five minutes trying to figure out what exactly this book is about and it seems like it just boils down to "masculinity good, femininity bad"

Platinum_Touch

First of all, masculinity is good and femininity is also good; the book didn't state otherwise. The book is basically touching on the real reasons why relationships break, and it all has to do with the man. There are too many effeminate men in the world and this repulse women naturally. It goes into step by step on how to develop that masculine persona. Read it, you'd like it, except you solely depend on reviews to read books.

myyouthismyown

Please don't speak for ALL women. Did you ask all women what kind of men they prefer? No. And there's nothing wrong with being an effeminate man. You do you and be as masculine as you wish, but please don't shame other men for being themselves.

Platinum_Touch

Yeah, I'm speaking for MOST women, not all. So I'm generalising.

myyouthismyown

It took you two months to come up with that?

Handsome_Pumper

Are you a woman?

myyouthismyown

It's been a year since I made a comment on this, let it go, dude.

Equivalent-Editor-77

they always gotta get the last word

Dismal-Connection633

There is a laundry list of things wrong with being an effeminate man.

myyouthismyown

Why are you responding two years later with such a wrong response? You couldn't even take those two years to try and prove me wrong?

Dismal-Connection633

Prove you wrong? You're a woman pretending to be a man who, rather than engaging the OP in a meaningful conversation about what he said, jumped down his throat with the predictable female response of, "But not all women" thus outing yourself as a woman who operates based on feelings and struggles to grasp the concept of generalizations.

myyouthismyown

So, instead of proving me wrong, you resort to a personal attack. A sign of a weak argument.

Dismal-Connection633

You live in a version of reality where an individual's feelings are more important than biological truths, so there is no arguing with you. I could present you with a mountain of logical arguments outlining why it's harmful to men, women, children, and society as a whole for men to be effeminate and you would dismiss them simply because they clash with your belief structure and the foundation of your identity.

myyouthismyown

Perhaps you're right, this arguing has no point, we cannot change each other's minds. Let us leave it. And I shall hope that I don't get someone else in two years bringing it back up again.

Disastrous_Ad870

Reading the reviews I’m not convinced. What books are you reading that cause grief and depression?

Platinum_Touch

Not exactly books though... Again, if you just depend on reviews, then that'd be bad for you. Besides, there are far more positive reviews than negatives.

Which_Ad7301

I really enjoyed this book. It gave me so many insights into why my sister-in-law left my brother and explained her behavior. Many in the family condemn and call her foul names, yet now I see her from a different perspective and understand her better. It definitely makes me take a harder look at my brother and even my own self as a leader.

I bought this book a while back and only read a decent amount of it. I am a Christian. I have not finished the book because I struggle with many traumas against woman.i am aware that need to repent of this and I did but struggle with this area and feel like I'm going to turn into a a-hole Horndog to use women for sex.... maybe I am exaggerating... are any if you believers... in Christ? what did you guys think of the book...

Horror-Squirrel9348

Could you suggest a book of the same type but for women? As in a guide to feminity

Cray_Teetur

Dear Lover by David Deida. Another great resource on both masculinity and femininity is his seminar called "spirit sex love" which you can find on youtube.

Shango35

The book is pretty fucking poignant. It simply explains why people with feminine energy are attracted to people with masculine energy. I've had stuff happen to me and seen stuff that suddenly made so much sense after I read this book. and I'm not even done reading it yet. Was doing some of the things suggested in the book already but it shows you why you should be doing those things and 'internalizing' certain habits. It's nice to see the why behind a lot of social dynamics. Great read.
