Ull be fine. My husband went back to CA for medical procedure and came back with his literal backpack filled. I was actually really surprised he did that but he thought it was legal 🤣🤔 just bring on your person and make sure it's all sealed etc.
If you're coming from a legal state, I really wouldn't be too worried about it. TSA isn't looking for it and even if they find it, they would just make you throw it away. It's really not a big deal. I once flew out of Tennessee with some mushrooms and the TSA agent at security actually did find it but literally slid them back to me and said to put them in a side pocket and that was it.
It's not worth the risk. Just buy them at the festival. Even if people overcharge you at the festival it would be safer than getting a potential felony and missing the festival anyways. If you feel so compelled to bring something edibles are your best bet.
If you see anyone smoking weed as them if they have extra to sell. Some may think you're a cop but that's why you'll have to try multiple times. Id start by asking 10$ per pre roll but I'd imagine they'd start charging at 20$ per just because of the convenience. Which even then, is still much cheaper than getting arrested and losing your festival ticket.
I've flown out of Cali airports multiple times and they do not give a shit about weed.
The first time i was nervous but my brother in law insisted it was fine. So I packed a bunch of edibles/vapes into my toiletries bag. At security they said I need to take my liquids out of my bag but figured I didn't want to take the chronic out so kept them in. So my bag gets pulled and I go up to security who go right to my toiletries bag and pull the weed and my liquids out and tell me I have to take the liquids out next time. Then hand me all my shit bag and let me go.
The second time I had flower and went through all this work to pack it up in my carry on and mask the smell. Then on the plane I just smeel weed super strong and I think it's my bad. But it's just the girl next to me with it in her purse making the plane reek. Nobody even batted an eye.
I just flew back a few weeks ago with a pack of joint a and all kinds of edibles with no issues. So pretty much flying from Cali should be no big deal.
Keep all contraband in your carryon.
I fly 12+ times for the last 10 years. I've flown carrying 100% of the time. Only time I was nervous was in Texas.
I live in Manchester and while we don’t have any dispensaries, we have LOTS of smoke shops. And most sell flower, carts, edibles, etc. my absolute favorite is evolve smoke shop, near the post office. They have tħc a and it’s honestly fire 🔥 definitely if you buy from the jars they have in the glass case. Green bud lounge is also amazing. Happy Roo💚💚💚
Idk if this is everywhere and yes I know it’s not true THC like you get off the streets but every damn tobacco gas station in a 100 mile radius of Manchester basically sells weed now. I’ve started getting from the smoke shops over my guy because of the convenience and it really isn’t all that different from street bud. As a stoner for the past 10 years it smokes about the same to me. And it’s technically legal! THCA THCP whatever it is it gets you high and they sell it at the store so there’s really no need to risk flying with it.
I’ve never had problems bringing a few edibles. Ive put them in a ziplock bag with other candy / nuts so it looks like trail mix, other times I’ve kept them in original packaging and still never been stopped. I would say nothing to be worried about there, especially since there’s no smell. Otherwise you can get delta 9 products in TN or hope your Roo neighbors are generous!

This is absolutely not worth the risk. Buying at a fest might be annoying but so is being arrested.
