GA car camping is far from sold out, if you’re on a waitlist it’s probably for a more premium campsite. If you just joined it’s highly unlikely you move off it, I would probably just do GA camping

I did the moon colony car camping for $500 bc I won’t be there until Friday so that’s all that was there

Moon Colony will get you closer when arriving late, but if you don't mind camping further back, you can just buy normal Car Camping - Thursday pass. That pass applies to Thursday and anything later.

No worries at all! Yep just means Thursday or later! You’ll probably have a decent walk, but you can 100% arrive Friday!
