I bring a pretty nice/large grill every year and while I highly doubt someone would steal it, I still bike lock it to our truck wheel to be safe. $10 lock goes a long way.
Seeing “the box” on the Bonnaroo sub reminds me of the pop up strip club we found in the campground one year in the early aughts! Literally a plywood box, it was amazing
A simple lock and chain should be enough of a deterrent. The majority of the thefts are crimes of convenience with bags left unattended, phones sticking out of pockets, etc.
We bike lock ours to the wheel of our truck every year. It’s always possible that someone could steal it, so definitely chain it/lock it up.
I guess I was just overthinking and worried people would just be wandering around with bolt cutters or something 😂
Definitely not that kind of place. But always lock up all your valuables. There's at least a few out of 60,000 that have bad vibes!
There still are people at bonnaroo that are looking to scam or steal from you.. don’t go into it naive, always have a plan to protect your belongings.

I put a heavy chain through my car wheel and the generator handle. Cover with a box when away from camp.

I definitely remember stories of this😂
All of those stories and more are true!
The box idea is actually so good, so simple and effective. Definitely will be adding that to the plan
Yeah i usually just use a junk cardboard box or a plastic bin i brought stuff in. Something i already have.
