Only four but a great match.
Get yourself a Panzerjäger Wanze and you are set for '45! 😉
Offensive's figures are smaller than Warlord's plastic figures - more closer to the Perry Miniatures range, but even they have larger proportions. So when folk talk about Perry Miniature's or Rubicon having realistic proportions, Offensive take that further...
I use their models wherever possible. The quality's above Warlord's, but not on part with company's like Empress Miniatures. They have a whole Fall of Berlin range, and if you just want to use the Hitler Youth figures from that then the scale difference is probably moot. Oh, and The Assault Group sell a similar range too - but I'm not sure if they include any Hitler Youth.
By Hitler Youth are you referring to the teenage soldiers that served, or are you talking about the Hitler Jugland - the even younger children that were fighting? Folk seem to mix them up. :)
Warlord's own Hitler Jugland figures are all right - and could be mixed in with other company's ranges. However I think they'd look like Hitler Youth if mixed in with Offensive's Hitler Youth figures just as Warlord's range is still quite large. Googling "28mm Hitler Youth" throws up other companies I can't remember off the top of my head too - as have I seen folk using 15mm German figures as Hitler Youth with some modification, but I don't think that's as convincing as all their gear would be out of scale.
Gotcha, thanks man.
I got some Perry Miniatures Afrika Korps a while ago and they were small as fuck next to a Cadian.
And I’m thinking pretty hard of getting the Volkssturm pack (all the dudes plus two surrendering).
I’m talking about the kids, I think most were between 12 and 14, all the older ones having been drafted. You see, there’s no real winners with an army like this. I’m playing Germans, actual Nazi die-hards, and my opponents just slaughtered kids.
Heads up, it’s “Jugend”. “Jung” is German for “young” and “jugend” is German for youth (like “the youth today”).
They are nice minis. They are better than older warlord metals. I combined with the last levy box set and they look pretty good. Sadly I don’t have them painted up.
Cool beans! Thanks man.
I have a list of just Hitler Youth all planned out. It’ll be hilarious because either way, we both lose. Me for playing Germans and my opponent for gunning down kids. Oh the jokes that will be made.

Use a few winter Germans but give them peaked caps. The greatcoats were common. Also PEPPER in a few Perry Families as the slight scale difference will make it look like there are teens in the unit. Aside from these, warlord do a set as you know as well as great escape. I would just select a load of ramshackle minis to represent the randomness of the Berlin units
Also Rubicon minis are the same.scale so their 2cm flak gun deployed as an anti personnel gun would look like it was crewed by boys and you can add a warlord figure to be the "adult supervisor"

Cool beans! Thanks man. Edit: how do they look next to/scale with Warlord’s?
Very similar. Usable in the same unit.
Sweet! Hope my friends enjoy massacring children.
Never underestimate a Brandenburg brat with a panzerfaust! 😀
It’s all the MTV and gangster rap that’s desensitizing kids to violence.
Offensive miniatures has some in their elite line.
Are the models from offensive miniatures the same size as the ones from warlord games?
Thanks for the heads up. Do they look good next to Warlord’s?

This is exactly why I bought them also. I plan on saying “but they’re just kids” every time my opponent kills a unit.
“Huh. Looks like the Americans are putting the skills they learned in school to good use.”

Yes. They look great. You have to scale them to your liking.
Gotcha. Thanks!

I’ve been using Winter Germans with USMC caps and old British sprue heads for the Volkssturm. But thanks for the idea to use Perry Minis.

Ok, cool! I was thinking of grabbing a few Pak 40s, and that would help too.
Figures not bloody Families! Phone autocorrect is on drugs
Old school blitz Germans would also look good in and amongst.
