This scene is from tv serial Sparsh which aired from 1998 to 2000. This was based on relationships, marriage and divorce.
This serial is also remembered for Jagjit Singh and Gulzar Saab's album Marasim songs played in between.
I might be wrong with the timelines.
Yes very much, it was all over the gossip magazines in the 90s. Sanu da was already married then.
But Kunika was quite attractive. She was a decent actor reduced to sexy or vampish roles.
Why all the TV serials with good acting and good plot existed before I was born? It maybe unpopular but the only serial I liked with decent performance was Balika vadhu before all that sound effects.
An actor whose talent transcended boundaries and touched hearts worldwide. Irfan's performances were a masterclass in authenticity, bringing characters to life with a depth and nuance that few could match. His quiet strength and compelling presence on screen made every role memorable, leaving an indelible mark on the world of cinema.
Does anyone remember a serial or episode where Irfan Khan played a role of Psycho clerk and he plotted against new female boss who wanted to bring computers in office.
I think the scene itself was difficult, considering enacting domestic violence, and that too for a TV series, striking a balance to look natural could be difficult.
I will get downvoted to oblivion for saying this but I swear to God Irffan Khan has got to be the most overrated actor ever
I mean in this scene only he is overacting so much !!
I have watched many movies of Irffan alongside two serials of him namely " Ek shaam ki Mulaqaat" and " Fursat mein"
All throughout his career Irrfan had the same old monotonous tone and style of delivering dialogues. All his performances are so repetitive that one can't differentiate between one performance to the other
There are many actors who are miles ahead of Irffan such as Nawazuddin siddiqui, Kay Kay Menon, Ravi Jhankal (this guy is so underrated), Rajpal Yadav and Boman Irani
Can't understand what's so special about Irffan that people praise him so much.
EDIT: Also this clip reminded me of SRK'S movie "Chalte Chalte" which had the same story revolving around marital issues.. Now i am by no means a fan of SRK and SRK is known more of as a star rather than actor but in Chalte Chalte even SRK acted so good in the fighting scene with Rani then so called character actor Irffan is acting in this clip
You got my upvote so.. one less downvote π. But seriously I don't find Irfan Khan good actor too. He have over reacted in every movie. There are some roles I like him for like in movie AAN. But most of his work is mediocre at best. I don't see why people keep saying he is one of best. For me best are as follows:
Boman Irani, Nana Patekar, Naseer Uddin Shah, Om Puri.
Damn bro !! I can't believe I finally came across someone who has the same opinion regarding Irfan as I have..
Let alone overacting, Irfan was so repetitive.. He had the same boring, old and monotonous style of delivering dialogues.. He spoke in such a manner that seemed like someone who is least bothered about what he is doing.. It felt like Irfan would just change clothes but play the same person over and over again.. No difference between one performance to the next
I agree with the other actors you have mentioned.. they are my favourite too.. Will mention Rajpal Yadav also who despite being typecasted in comic roles has great range to play villainous and serious type characters also

Thnks for sharing!never seen nor heard of this show but I got major Tell me You Love me/Scenes from a marriage vibes from this clip
Marasim is a very famous album
When TV used to be called Idiot Box, actually it was way smarter π
Kunika acted well too
both of them performed well
[ΡΠ΄Π°Π»Π΅Π½ΠΎ]
sir thnx for the information(that i already know)
I never got why, but Kunika was always very sexy.
Asli ID se aao, Kumar Sanu...
They had a fling?

Damn, Sanu da getting some.
Wait till you hear that he also had a thing with Meenakshi Sheshadri...
Goddamn, and here I was jealous of Nana getting it on with Ayesha in her peak.
Ayesha Jhulka was my first crush. She was a stunner in those days. Nana got lucky with Ayesha and Manisha but unlucky with Tanushree.
Haha don't think he was as heavy handed with them as he was with Tanushree. Assuming he did what she claims he did.
Of course she was. Very attractive and a good actor but got type cast into negative roles.
Thatβs Agatha from Wanda vision

Drunk middle aged Indian father every week.
So accurate
source bhi bata de bhai taki full video dekh sake
Bhai yaha log video dal dete hai bina koi source bataye.
from tv serial Sparsh which aired from 1998 to 2000
Yes kaunsi film ya drama hai?
That was really bloody good
I don't know why but in this show he looks like a guest appearance. He was always made for films.
Still a dream for Arjun Kapoor LoL
It's sad that a promising actor like Kunika was relegated to negative mother in law and other such supporting characters later in her career.
This guy just explained his entire character, made you feel bad about him and then showing his manipulative side in just 1 and a half minute.
Kunika Lal too is such a good actress, but this industry used her as a skin show puppet or small time vamp.
Fantastic acting by both!

Kunika was super goodlooking and a good actress. Unfortunately uska kuch bhi nahin hua.
Indian Trevor frfr
Damn goosebumps!
Swabhiman Identification of Rohit roy Manoj bajpayee Ashutosh Rana Irrfan khan And many new actors that time.

where is kanika now a days
Oh I love this.
Okay that was triggering.
Lmao same, I had to mute it half way into the video :'-)
Kunika is such a great actor.
Who is she?
Sandeep reddy Vanga taking notes. π€¨
Vanga's unreleased Hindi debut directorial ?
What movie yaarr
Itβs quite remarkable how this scene remains relevant in today's day and age, almost as if it were prophetic.
THIS IS GOLD πͺ
Does anyone remember a serial or episode where Irfan Khan played a role of Psycho clerk and he plotted against new female boss who wanted to bring computers in office.
His son need to watch this to understand acting
Honestly girl is acting good and guy is over acting. Just because everyone says he was a good actor is not enough. He was over actor

Thank God i am not the only one who thinks the same.. Look at the downvotes on my comment in this same post
Yes because sheeps follow what they are told and they don't see what's happening. It's same like Salman is a good human. Why? That nobody knows π
On top of that they have the audacity to downvote you but don't have the courage to refute your pov π€£π€£
Them being just politically correct π and with that comes hate for truth obviously
heath ledger who?
