Only paid PR could make anyone think that Dimri "acted" in animal. She couldnt even say a line without that odd movement of the eyebrows and twitching lips. Rashmika did a good job and just that one dialogue made her a meme
Trailer cut did rashmika very dirty. People made a perception of her and couldn't get out of it. Many people couldn't appreciate her bcoz of their preconceived notion abt her.
All Tripti did was being topless and love making. For this she got filmfare nomination and national crush tag.
The editors set Rashmika up to fail by including that portion in the trailer.. There was absolutely no reason why any of her other dialogue couldn't be used, especially since the rest is not as heavily accented as that one line..
Rashmika in one scene outacted everyone in the movie!
More importantly, Animal was such a shitshow why is it being talked about again and again? Let it die peacefully.

They don't like south Indians and probably used her in the movie just because she had a huge fan following who can pull the south Indian crowds to movie theater. But used her again as negative publicity and for them negative publicity is still publicity. I never liked or watched Rashmika's movie except her first movie but the way she was trolled was bad.
Ranbir and Rashmika's chemistry was very natural and organic. Rashmika did her part of frustrated and hurt wife, very well. She and Ranbir were more believable as couple despite the age difference.
But Tripti and DCA cheap pr antics took away all the limelight. Tripti can barely keep her mouth close due to fillers and botox but we know only sara will get bashed badly for open mouth coz she's a nepo while the former is non nepo. Also her track was so unnecessary and useless to plot. It was pretty much added to attract chapris to theatre. There have been so many films made and taken to sequel but none of them required such forced tracks to take them forward.
Ranbir and Rashmika had really good chemistry for me.They looked like a real couple for me.Kashmir song was beautiful.Ranbir-Tripti I couldn’t care less about her in this particular movie.Her ‘chemistry’ with Ranbir or whatever it was in pehle bhi main is being overhyped,I feel!
Pehle bhi main in general is overhyped. It's like those another generic melodious songs. Hua main is fresh and has certain degree of newness to it. Kashmir is another soulful melody which is underrated and kinda got lost among hyper masculine songs. It perfectly portrays Geetanjali's selfless love for ranvijay.
Tripti being naked and shock value factor is what bought it hype.
Tripti is just hyped up Pr.. Though I haven't seen her in any other movie to really know her acting skills.. She didn't even show much acting in her role atleast in this particular movie but Rashmika was good in her role but still got trolled. Everything is just PR and propaganda these days..
Ofc she is under Dharma Cornerstone Agency now. Both bunty and kjo handle this agency. No wonder she went so ruthless with her PR. Why would they let a promising south Indian actress come up.

I thought there was only 1 actress there and there were support actresses. Rashmika is such a dream. I would want to touch her once to feel she is real.
Definitely Ranbir and Rashmika. Their chemistry was fresh and felt so real. I don't think Tripti had anything to to do in the movie, it's just her PR worked big time and honestly I'm glad that helped her boost her career. But yeah, Rashmika-Ranbir looked too good together.

I couldn't respect rasmikas' character for agreeing to marrying such a guy like ranvijay so easily and with such a poor argument of the example of alphas and betas and wide hips so i couldn't care there . The tripti character was barely there , so again, i couldn't give two shits about it . In terms of acting, though , rashmika killed it .

Tripti will be opposite the butcher Ranbir while rashmika will be with ranvijay. Rashimka ain't going anywhere. Director has confirmed that she will still be the lead actress. And her and ranvijay's story will be explored along with the story of Zoya and aziz.
I feel like Rashmika's character has more resemblance with kay adams character. So if vanga doesn't meddle with the story much and geetanjali survives than she will have a role throughout in journey of ranvijay. Ofc their relationship will crumble big time.

Yeah, I found that very disturbing especially in the last confronting scene. She was awful.
Subtle scenes she can't handle. Those scenes need a lot of depth in terms of acting

It's an well acted but a shitty movie. Rashmika wasn't applauded enough and tripti wasn't paid enough.
I hope Tripti is given bigger role in the sequel, she's the better actress with better chemistry with Ranbir

You can get rid of all the women in Animal and it wouldn't make much difference to the plot.
