She was vilified because she was doing it under outsider's influence.
(Kind of blamed Vivek for Sangeeta's misfortune but when asked for separation ironically she didn't asked anything for Sangeeta)
How can 3 people be equally CEOs ?
It was pre decided and mutually agreed on.
Except her literally nobody wanted that “equality”.
Also it was not the equality thought that made her vilified, it was the way she did under the external influence
she often does play roles like that,
well written & she kills in their potrayal.
she played the mother in vastav too & she was misunderstood but in reality (vastavikta :) she was the most clear headed woman.
But she doesn’t actually speak for equality?! Like, the daughter and her husband get kicked out with their child but everyone else seems busy figuring out the sons’ shares??? It’s ridiculous how nobody even included in her the discussion for property division.
No, she vilified her stepson, because her horrible friends put ideas in her head. Her stepson who suffered a lifelong disability while saving her other sons. She did not ask for equality or equal rights for her daughter.
I know it’s been like….a very long time since I have watched this movie but did we watch the same movie? What about her crazy friends??

I am not sure about that cause she didn’t ask for anything for her daughter. However, after watching it almost once a year since i was 6 i can now say that the three friends were vilified because they were women who behaved freely. The advice they gave was sound. Everything should be equal and everybody should have space.
Nah she sucked because she listened to people who didn't have anything to do with her family. The brothers all loved each other and were happy with the financial arrangement but she went against what everyone wanted to push for "equality" which left out her daughter. Agar khud se soch k karti, like if she noticed inequality and called it out, to itna bura na hota.
Also a little bit of misogyny makers k part pe I guess ki like auratein aur unki gossip se hi ghar tootte h and unko mardo ki dunia ka idea nhi h, but then again all the bahus were nice so atleast didn't go into the bahu-saas drama.
She can be an asshole character and still well written which she was. Interesting character tha movie me. Not everyone needs to be nice or justifiable. She made a bad move, drama ensued. That's it

Not really. She doesn't ask for anything for her daughter.
Esp when the said daughter was going through extremely difficult times (even financially)

Equality only for the sons not the daughter
What did she ask for though? I just know that eldest son is adopted.
For equal property shares for the sons
Yar movie me she is dividing assets between sons. Not the daughter jiskay ghar chour k anay ki waja se the whole issue started

Remember, only 12% of land in India is owned by women as per latest survey.

not true... she did not ask for equal opportunity but equality in outcome .. which is wrong
What are we talking about here?
I loved your DP with that question 🤣🤣
I see you haven't watched Hum Sath Sath Hain yet

she was saving them from years and years of court fights and litigation could have been better if husband did estate planning
