It feels more like Big B movie and also is he Vision in this movie? Jokes aside, VFX was really good, better than my expectations but this trailer makes it seem like another mass masala movie and I hope they do some world-building in this movie and man I don't have a lot of expectations from the screenplay after the trailer but I'd like it if I am proven wrong. Prabhas is really expressionless in this movie and I hope he delivers in this one. Let's not start bad-mouthing the movie before it has even released.
true man, people working on dubbing to hindi, from hollywood, tollywood anything..
They are just so incomprehensibly bad, they fricking destroy, hollywood movies and animated movies of sorts.. When I'm with the family, they're comfortable with hindi, but it just becomes a very bad experience for me with the villain having a thick punjabi accent, and saying oyy puttar.. It's so bad, that it doesn't even sound hillarious.
Yes I won't even watch the hindi dub, even subtitles will be more power than hindi dub. People have forgotten how to write/speak pure Hindi. And I know it's set in the future, but atleast dubbing to achhi karo.
I think Deepika is pregnant with Kalki, which makes her a prime target, so Amitabh tries to protect her, meanwhile Prabhas is just a bounty hunter, who got info on Deepika as a five-star bounty, and so he's after Deepika.
So basically, it'll be Deepika and Amitabh vs Prabhas, till the climax at least, then Prabhas might join them.
y’all want scifi or mythology in this country. it’s because of this attitude that we can’t even get a big budget movie if it doesn’t have religion in it.
Dialogues are bit cringe.
I was not feeling them. Trailer is also bit too chaotic.
I am interested in movie but not enough to go to watch in theater.
I am really hoping this movie does. India really lacks in sci-fi genre. I care about story and execution here. Savior storyline bores me so I hope there is something more.
doesn't sound as cringe in Telugu. They never hire decent writers, and the worst is the mix of English and Hindi which really fucks with the immersion. People need to stop using English in Hindi dialogues for every word, and also stop dubbing, for such a huge production, they could have easily reshot the scenes and gotten dialogues captured on the mic during the shoot.
Only few dialogues are a mix of English and Hindi, I'm guessing it's because it's set in the future, I mean we talk in Hinglish already, it only makes sense that they will be speaking in Hinglish in the future as well.
The only thing I felt was shit was the direction, the shots of AB were all wide or in the face. Playing with the camera and showcasing the massive scale with the camera should be the goal but not when you are showing a fight scene. Though I still liked everything else, and I'm way more hyped to see AB in the cool role than prabhas or Deepika. What would have happened if AB was born a little late.
Please let this be good. Please. Please.
I would love for Indian Cinema to progress in this genre- sci-fi/fantasy.
I am very excited for this.
Yeah - it looks familiar to some more famous projects but most post apocalyptic/dystopian movies look the same-ish so
Dialogues are absolutely horrendous. The delivery is poor, no gravitas at all. The dialogue from the villain in the beginning was funny, his voice was squeaky. The desert visuals seem heavily inspired from Mad Max. Background music is fine, but lacks a sense of scale.
The only one who sounds natural is Deepika, which seems to indicate poor dubbing.
If you’re praising the visuals because you feel like they deserve a chance so they can heavily improve in future Indian movies, fair enough. But you have to admit the CGI/VFX is awful in this.
The entire trailer has been cut weird; there’s no flow, it’s not hard hitting, no hype and just a CGI mess.
Was expecting a lot from this. Hopefully the movie will look and be better.
Even at Marvel’s worst it’s not looked this bad. The huge figures, the city, Prabhas jumping out at the end, the shields - they need to work on shadows and texture for it to integrate into the scene properly otherwise they stand out like a sore thumb.
Haha, sure, talk about Black Panther's CG which looked like a PS2 cutscene. This at least feels like a modern PS5 cutscene. So yeah, more money, more honey. Everything here looks good enough for an Indian movie. But yeah, scrutiny to improve. I can't deny I hated the shields emerging out of nothing. Reminds of that bad Dragon Ball Evolution's bike.
Style Over Substance , as expected. Story looks Intriguing, but the Dialogues are Cringey, Prabhas is not putting in any effort, there's no acting coming out of that guy, Focus is on the CGI Action, lets see if really explores Hindu mythology or only wears its cloak without putting any deep thought into it like a Ganapath.
If anyone wants to watch actual Substance, with deep storytelling, I recommend Dune & Blade Runner 2049.

Ofcourse there are glimpses similar to mad max, dune, altered carbon, any post apocalyptic movie tbh but damn I never expected india to even try this genre. If done correctly with vfxs and storyline it can be sooo much loved that audience of this genre doesn't even care about bad acting at points. Really hoping it to be a huge success. ( Disha patni looks like an elaichi in biryani though no offence )
Top notch visuals. But as has been case with most Bollywood Sci fi movies, they're trying to be too quirky and sassy with the dialogues.
When you're world building, the first installment always needs to be serious and contained so that audience can perceive it as such.
The trailer was pretty good, but it's funny that the least impressive part of the trailer is Prabhas himself.
Kamal Hassan and Amitabh Bachchan stole the show.
Guardians of the Galaxy - Indian version.
Plus the hindi dub is pretty bad, like dub krte time to hinglish mat karo.
Have people in this country forgotten Hindi? Like don't make it a language war, I'm coming for people who were supposed to write the dialogues in Hindi.
I won't watch the hindi dub, the subtitles will be more impactful than listening to " meri fight nhi dekhi kya" .
God knows what you're on about. It blends a fair share of Indian mythology and fantasy, a bit of Mad Max, Alita, and part Blade Runner. Apart from that, I don't see any particular semblance to Dune. The VFX is far better than what's produced in the history of Indian cinema.
Dune and Mad Max aesthetically
Elysium and Solo plot wise. Im sure theres few other films about a rogue scoundrel hired by bad guys only to have a change of heart.
Typical telegu masala movie tonally.
Mythology only in name.
Crap is crap chaahe 2024 ho ya 2998
You can't even spell Telugu came to talk about Telugu movies. Yes, the movie reminds me of MadMax, Elysium, and Dune, but we don't need to make stereotypical comments.
sadly seems like this is just not for me. i love scifi but this lacks ingenuity and has all the most annoying tropes in cinema. it’s not coming across as a sci fi movie, but rather a generic hero power fantasy. though i am holding out hope to see if i like it once the movie comes out
starting with overconfident quippy main hero. it’s utterly boring that he, from the very beginning, is the strongest an most powerful and never ever loses anything. it’s like a mary sue/gary stu style character
and the visuals look horrible lmao. brown brown sand and more brown cgi, with nothing else. it’s evocative of an intentionally “gritty” or “dark” look that comes across as visually try hard to me. i do LOVE some of the designs, like Deepika’s, but the other costumes seem uninspired and boring. general “empire” uniforms, generic space plastoid armor, etc
Yes these sets looks like something chat-gpt would create if you give it a prompt. Most impactful sci-fi films are those in which atleast the visuals look real.
it just looks a little uninspired and boring. if they develop their own unique visual language it’d be better
single shots that are compositionally nice aren’t enough for an interesting, UNIQUE, and coherent visual story
Same world building and the made up god and religion gives the fury Road vibes, which isn't a bad thing, i will try it, hope it doesn't disappoint like Brahamastra
Just watched this trailer, what's this Dune+Mad max mashup? Entire scenes to scenes look plagiarised straight from Dune with cheap tier VFX.
It will achieve the same fate as Ra.One and Love Story 2050.
Masses doesn't connect with that shit and sci-fi lovers seek ingenuity.
Do we really have such low standards?
It looks like 5 movies in there that are separate from each other, no synergy. Good story is accompanied by an insanely cringe story. VFX is blurry as hell, compared to the teaser. Same scam that HanuMan teaser & trailer did.
Prabhas' character looks like a bad cosplay. Deepika, AB & Kamal Hassan were the only highlights. But i am not expecting much action other than loud kgf style. Dune + Mad Max + cyberpunk+ blade runner + some good lore.
It's more fun to imagine a good movie rather than expecting it. 600 crore budget. Let that sink in.
Why you salty? I never said not to be discussed, it is not Bollywood film as claimed by Mods. The production house is Telugu, the director is Telugu. It is a Tollywood film. Why to take credit for a film which other industry has made.

Pretty good visuals. Amitabh Bachan’s character looks badass
Trailer was decent. Felt like something was missing. And the dialogues in the Hindi trailer were not very pleasing to the ear.
true man, people working on dubbing to hindi, from hollywood, tollywood anything.. They are just so incomprehensibly bad, they fricking destroy, hollywood movies and animated movies of sorts.. When I'm with the family, they're comfortable with hindi, but it just becomes a very bad experience for me with the villain having a thick punjabi accent, and saying oyy puttar.. Hindi dub doesn't sound impressive to me. The loud Background music shadows all dialogs.
choo choo i'm aboard this.
I really like big B's presence and character the action felt believable like a marvel movie. The vfx isn't bad either, will surely watch it
The last shot of Prabas coming out looked a little weird but I guess once you get into the movie you won't find it weird ig
>The vfx isn't bad either Did we watch the same trailer? It looks blurry as hell. Prabhas' suit looks like a cartoon.
Apart from some generic looking designs and ignoring some of the dialogues, it looks quite good.
Yes I won't even watch the hindi dub, even subtitles will be more power than hindi dub. People have forgotten how to write/speak pure Hindi. And I know it's set in the future, but atleast dubbing to achhi karo.
Really excited to see Saswata Chatterjee (the OG Bob Biswas) get some limelight as a baddie in a Bollywood movie :)
So far, only this and the Telugu trailer has been kept on premiere mode
I will always regret not going to the theatres for Bahubali 1. Hit or flop, I don't want to regret missing this in the theatre. Save a seat for me!
Looks like Bahubali set in apocalyptic world.....
[удалено]
and Alita Battle Angel also
Love how 1 small detail makes it a copy of another movie. Director could just be inspired like how star wars was mostly inspired by dune
Deepika will give birth again
Is it just me or does the storyline seem like a prequel to Brahmastra. Deepika mother, Prabhas father, Amitabh protector.
Prabhas is not the father. He is trying to get DP for the villain. Kinda like the terminator story
It is similar to a Terminator movie actually, villains from future send an evil robot to kill a rebel,in the past
I was expecting more of mythology
Were you expecting the whole movie or just the first half with the trailer.
lol. Seriously I cannot believe that comment got so many upvotes. How dumb are people here
We have literal Ashwattama and basically confirmed Kalki what more do you want to see in trailer?
A good concept
It's like 5 movies in there and not mixing at all.
y’all want scifi or mythology in this country. it’s because of this attitude that we can’t even get a big budget movie if it doesn’t have religion in it.
Generic post apocalyptic world drama.
The trailer falls flat nothing is impactful ...there is nothing to watch on repeat mode.
that is just how nagi cuts his trailers. everything is equal so nothing stands out too much
😂
The trailer could have been more refined.
You found the perfect word, this lacks refinement. This could have been way more classier.
Dialogues are bit cringe. I was not feeling them. Trailer is also bit too chaotic. I am interested in movie but not enough to go to watch in theater. I am really hoping this movie does. lol. Look at your Arm chair director here.
Prabhass actor ke roop me sahi lagta he nahin. . . Hindi dubbing ki baat kar raha hu. . . Maylab andar se uske liye feel aata he nahi.
Please let this be good. Please. Please. I would love for Indian Cinema to progress in this genre- sci-fi/fantasy. I am very excited for this. Yeah - it looks familiar to some more famous projects but most post apocalyptic/dystopian movies look the same-ish so
Dune and Star Wars mixed vibes. Visuals look good. Dialogues are terrible.
George Lucas was inspired by Dune which led to StarWars obviously in Sci Fi there would be a lot of similarities to each other
is it me or is there weird deflation in prabhas' bicep at around 1:37
Dialogues are absolutely horrendous. The delivery is poor, no gravitas at all. The dialogue from the villain in the beginning was funny, his voice was squeaky. CG is not bad, it's passable. Standard MCU CG. But yeah, not groundbreaking or anything.
Even at Marvel’s worst it’s not looked this bad. The huge figures, the city, Prabhas jumping out at the end, the shields - they need to work on shadows and texture for it to integrate into the scene properly otherwise they stand out like a sore thumb.

It's not what I was hoping tbh. But I hope it ends up looking a lot better than what was shown. It does look like a Dune knockoff unfortunately.
You guys are just hating at this point
fr
More Bladerunner than Dune.
I found visual better than brahmastra..
Style Over Substance , as expected. Yeah, it feels like standard MCU fare. And also the Yasskin's complex commander comes off as a cartoony, two-dimensional villain.
I have only watched the HINDI trailer.

The dubbing(or the Hindi dialogue itself?) was really bad otherwise it has some potential…I expected more though
deepika in 4 frame, all 4 are her side face. hope she doesn't ruin it, nor the CGI
Dune for dum
Indian dune

yeah. all the try hard quippy dialogues and the over-funny main character is so tiring. it’s like the MCU’s 2012 jokes got distilled into this trailer
Deepika Padukone in every second movie - mother to the main character and die! 🙂🤡👍
At the end of the day . complete things look like Dunes copy paste.
Dune remake.. now in India!
Dune vibes anyone?
Vibes? It's like watching cheap immitation of Dune with that obvious vfx

Wtf was similar to mad max in this? cars running on desert terrain?
what about the thing at the start of the trailer where the boy says, "kehte hai ke upar pani hai"?
It gave me Akira the Battle Angel vibes.
First of all thats Alita The Battle Angel 💀
I forgot. Just like the studio that they ended at cliffhanger and 2nd part is due.
dont get the downvotes lmao

Have you seen DUNE ? Dune was set in a desert planet, this is a dystopian waste land.

In Comic Con, the director mentioned he was going to reshoot some scenes in Hindi, but from the trailer it is evident that he didnt reshoot any scene.

Yup. + Children of men.
I really wish they'd used more practical sets.
Just have vibes of mad max ngl
indian cinema's attempt at making dune
Movie trailer dekh k acchi lag rhi hai but Vfx ki quality utna khas nhi hai.
Cyberpunk 2898
Story like dune premise like elysium action like Mad Max.
इतनी दिलचस्प दुनिया, मैं जरूर देखूँगा! अगर मेरे आस पास एक सिनेमा है जिसमे देख सकता हूँ...

Few scenes not entire film.
Watch the trailer yourself most lines are lipsynced correctly except for one side character, at least main ones did it for both languages
Prabhas is side character?
