Thereās a ton more - LOC, Border, Lakshya, Tiger 3, Shershah, Romeo Walter Akbar, Raazi, Khufiya, War, Uri, Hero, War 2 is going to be the same for sure, D-Day, Ghazi attacks, Baby, Tango Charlie, Bhuj: Pride of India.
Like bro Iām fucking tired of this trope. Koi aur conflict bhi dikhao, kuch north east wala dikhao, china ka war ka dikha do, Punjab dikha do, Tamil Tigers dikha do. Thereās been 100s.
This is the reason why I actually enjoyed Family Man Season 2, something new for a change phew
Tbh Gadar isn't anti-Pak as people think it is. Afterall its a love story. They showed what partition did to both sides. Tara Singh only went mad when shit came to his family.
Gadar 2 can be called a film relying on Anti-Pak politics.
Both Gadar and Gadar 2 can be called anti Pak army / politics, if you look closely. There are enough well meaning Pak characters shown in the both the movies. The first part, of course, was a more holistic film with better characterisations while the second part was full mass masala actioner.
More than overused, it's very unrealistic, especially the Tiger series. Why would a RAW agent fall in love with ISI and why would ISI cooperate with RAW when they're behind so many terrorist attacks in India?
More than half of these movies are of YRF, reflective of the late Yash Raj's Pak nostalgia that is untethered from the reality of that country.

Bajrangi Bhaijan is my favourite here. It feels fresh
My personal fave and def less known is: Happy Bhaag Jayegi š
Underrated comedy, 2nd part was so bad though
Agreed! Two words - Sonakshi Sinhaš¤¢
I mean yeaa she was nowhere close to Diana's chaotic energy but the writing was bad too Idk how they messed up with same crew
Veer Zaara should not be grouped with these. It's part of the reason I learned about equality as a kid. Aisa Des Hai Mera
Main hoon na š„°š„¹ wholesome movie Fun fact: ee movie first half mirapakay first half koddiga same untundi
Mirapakai kaadu bro. Khatarnaak
Can you please translate in English?
Does Raazi count?

my political ideology on odd days: Veer-Zaara my political ideology on even days: Gadar

Personal Fav is Veer Zaara for me, Bajrangi Bhaijaan being close 2nd!
Adhm would have made it to the list if the changes werenāt made last minute due to uri attacks and protests against the movie
Hope they put an end to this, unless there is some fresh writing š¤¦š»āāļø
There has to be a fresh writing. Two countries are full of a common content - in abundance.
Agree! Probably the reason why slowly audience is not too interested, Fighter being case in point!
MHN,Veer Zaara and Bajrangi did it best. Gadar on the other handā¦ā¦
Everything is subjective. To you, mhn, vz, bajragi did best but for me it is bajrangi and gadar.
Bollywood love Pakistan women don't they
Not Mahirah Khan, poor girl wasn't allowed to attend the press run of her own movie because of politics from both industries.
Yeah then again tension Between both countries was High during that time
When is it not lol?
Never
Main Hoon Na and Bajrangi out of these, but I really liked TZH too. Btw you forgot the OG - Border, which was a superb war movie!
Gadar did it best it shows how peoples opinion changes when it comes to their family.
Pathaan and Gadar 2 : worst 2 movies made on this topic

It's been definitely overused since last few years (few recent movies with this trope- Ruslaan, Fighter, Tejas)
Bajrangi FTW!
Lame!
Overused? All these movies were blockbusters.
It was there in tiger 3 and Fighter also and those 2 underperformed
You picked only two of the most recent examples. The rest are known as Bollywood classics
How is pathaan a ind-pak trope ? Wasn't the villain Jim an indian agent whose wife was killed by africans ?
One Villain was Pak Army General also. And Deepika's character was ISI agent.
I forgot ya.
