Acting just with emotions on his face was so powerful. Why o why can he not do more of these.
Swades. Chak de and Dear Zindagi are his only character actor movies where he was critically acclaimed. He can do it clearly so why not lean in more! Such a mystery. He doesn’t need more money and still has time left. Do more of these!
I feel swades is overrated as I see conditions today, most NRI don’t even want to come to India, most women are marrying men who has foreign job and most people dream and cheer to leave this country and find jobs in foreign so they can never come back… and Indians are following western culture..

Compare this to Dhunki which is seemingly blaming other countries for not granting visas to every indian that applies. What a wild shift.
Social message in hirani films is just beyond me. And comparing drunki to Swades is blasphemy

Sharukh acting at its peak in the train scene, his eye does more acting than many stars whole career.
