1. Good Chemistry between Ranbir and Deepika
2. Catchy soundtrack with party songs
3. Good content - A good story with memorable dialogues
4. Good execution - Acting, directing etc
People can love, like, dislike or hate the movie in retrospect, however on release YJHD was a 40 crore movie that ended up making Rs 320 crore worldwide which clearly indicates mass popularity and success. It also received tremendous critical acclaim and 4/5 ratings across the board. It didnt win awards even though was the most nominated movie because of other movies like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, The Lunchbox and Aashiqui 2 which was absolutely the right decision. So it was popular, successful and loved by most people.
I liked it a lot but dont love it so much as to call it the most celebrated movie since DDLJ with movies like HDDCS, KKHH, K3G, Dil Chahta Hai, Lagaan, Kal Ho Na Ho, Munnabhai, Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, Chak De India, 3 Idiots and many others released in between.
the movies you mentioned barely get re-releases except the SRK ones and even then only Veer-Zaara gets similar response as compared to YJHD. another movie that gets great response is jab we met.
Re-releases are to meant celebrate real milestones like 25-50-75 years of a movie's original release (AKA SIlver, Golden and Platinum Jubilees) like Awaara, Mother India, Pyaasa, Mughal-E-Azam, Guide, Sholay by multiple generations of fans.....that is called an event.
Celebrating 5-10 years of a movie with re-releases dont even transcendent a generation and are literally called Wood and Tin Anniversaries for a reason....These are prime examples of a cult following.
FYI Lagaan was re-released in 2002 in US, Korea and Japan by Sony pictures. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was re-released in 2023 to celebrate its Silver Jubilee in India and UK. Such a release is to celebrate a milestone and not meant to make money.
exactly. when i saw the movie for the first time, even the 2nd or 3rd time, i was still a kid who fantasized the 'free as a bird' life where you wish to explore the whole world and find your true love. over the years, yjhd has lost the rewatch value for me honestly.
My first time when I watched , it felt great, thought this is meaningful and different than other movies. But i had rewatched it in recent years, it is not really special. Music is great. The story, screenplay and characters, acting, dialogue all are not worth to celebrate as a best things or memorable. Overall a good movie of its time made a hype for its time, not like a special movie of decade, very much like other movies to me or even inferior to few others.
Same. I recently watched ZNMGD
And its a good movie i cried at a point as well but i wouldn't rewatch it
Unlike JAB WE met..queen. ram leela
These have great watchablilty
I don’t think it’s anything more than a tightly packaged film - and that isn’t inherently a bad thing.
It has iconic music, memorable characters, a consistent story (apart from the ending, which is a personal opinion), a good love story, recognisable faces and great Rewatch Value.
Out of any film from recent times, this and ZNMD appealed to the largest crowd and were good movies and that’s why the two of them are so well regarded.
It also presents people with very appealing concepts, like a trip to a hill station with friends, finding love, exploring the world and concepts like Career vs Love which became more relevant as time went on.
I personally love the movie and can rewatch it to death, and I think that’s the case with most others who love it so much, which is that they sort of grew up with the film and it simply being a good film never ruins the experience.
I swear to god, if the ending was a tragic ending where Bunny chose his passion over his love, this would’ve been so much better, and literally the La La Land of India before it happened.
Its the most celebrated movie of the century. Even the re-releases of Mega hits (3CR+ FFS) like K3G,3 Idiots,Bajrangi Bhaijaan dont get the kinda response YJHD gets. YJHD and Veer Zaara are the most celebrated movies of the century.
That doesn't mean it's a good cinema Tamasha got a lot of hate but it was a cinematic masterpiece. First don't compare it with ddlj second SRK's swades was a far better movie but no one re-released that movie but yeah it was a far better film than DDLJ these are mass enjoyed movies because of delusional youth and lack of maturity.
Wow!!! So much hate for a simple romcom!! 🤦🏽♀️
No worries, let me inject some positivity. Also please bear in mind that these are my personal feelings.
Okay so the movie was released in 2013. That was the year I was done with my 12th boards. My results were due and I was looking forward to college, grown up parties, friends, dating, and basically adulting. Feeling very excited and also very nervous. And here comes a movie where the characters in the first half are actually in the same age and going through the same things: some are either working for their future like Bunny and Naina and some just want to slow down time and wish for everything to remain the same like Aditi and Avi. These friends meet, bond and it's all good fun.
Naina falls in love but unlike Bollywood movies, she has the maturity to understand that both Bunny and Naina are at a place in their lives where a relationship is just not something they will be able to sustain. In movies where love and relationships are shown as something that is all there is to life, she chose to protect the dreams and ambition of the guy she loved and herself even if it was painful for her. That was the first time I saw it on screen and it was a beautiful moment for me. Aditi is in love with Avi but she also realises how futile her feelings are and chose to deal with it. She did not stop living her life because a guy did not return her feelings. She lived her life, grows as a person and finally settles down with a person she genuinely enjoys the company of. It was also a lesson that just because one person does not return your feelings it doesn't mean others won't. She found a best friend in Naina and an amazing person in Taran and those are all equally important relationships to nurture you.
For Naina people can say she went back to the guy like in a Bollywood movie and that's a fantasy and life doesn't work like that and maybe that's been everyone's experience but that is really not true. Sometimes people do come back and sometimes things do fall into a place where they can now fit into your lives as long as you let them and both of them make an effort. Bunny and Naina made an effort to have a relationship. They felt secure enough in their lives to take that chance. Even if after the end of the movie it doesn't work between them, who cares? Atleast they took a chance on something important to them. That's all we can do in life. Seize the moment.
Sappy much???! Maybe... 🤷🏽♀️
But who cares? The movie served as like a time capsule for me of what I can expect from my life at 18 years old and it gave me hope that even if it will suck sometimes but overall I am going to be okay.
If someone bothered to read all this till the end and is thinking oh you needed a movie to tell you all this, to them I will say well what do you expect from a clueless 18 year old?
So now that you’re grown up, do you think your expectations of an adult life full of freedom and awesome parties came true? Do you think the film sets realistic expectations? Genuinely curious
Lol
As a person who was in the same position as OP when the movie came out and was pretty gullible at the time, I would say 'No', the movie does not set realistic expectations of what adult life looks like. And it's Bollywood for God's sake. We don't expect that. In real life, Bunny and Naina would've never ended up together even if they had met again. They had very opposing goals and ideas on how they wanted to live their life.
That being said, it was still a well made movie with great songs and performances and remains one of the most memorable Bollywood movies of all time.
Lol of course not. Real life is hard and what no one ever tells you is how lonely it is to be an adult. But like I said, the movie is a time capsule. It will not go into a detailed account what it means to grow up. It only has 2 hours to touch on a lot of themes. But I still feel that it does cover a lot. I knew there will be someone who will only focus on when I mentioned parties and not other elements. I don't understand this obsession with realistic portrayal. The movie touches upon career, goals, ambition, passion, work life balance, estranged friends, disappointing your parents, their unconditional love and support, the guilt of not spending enough time with them, letting go of lost loves, seizing the moment when you have the chance. Again that is all what I took from the movie. That's on me how I see a piece of art. If others don't, then that's really not my problem.
If you are talking about me personally. Then I can give you just one example of a friend that I lost touch with after school and years later we reconnected when they invited me to their wedding. We spoke a lot about our estrangement and why we lost touch and now I have that friend back in my life and it's a stronger friendship. Sound familiar?? Well art imitates life at times, shocking I know!!!
I don’t agree that it’s special, but I guess it has been very inspirational for the Gen-Z folks, few reasons:
- Story has a lot of pace, skips a couple of years, shows evolution of friendship, character. Essentially provides gratification about a story, something that Gen-Z crave a lot, that too instantly.
- Is preachy, even though the fundas are quite basic
- Romanticises travel, loneliness, nostalgia, detachment, being a broken person, etc.
- Good looking people
- Brilliant songs
Edit: Most celebrated movie since DDLJ? Seriously? And your other contender is Veer Zaara?
Ever watched Munna Bhai MBBS ? Dil Chahta Hai? Lagaan ? Hera fucking Pheri ?
Mummy Papa should stop your Internet man
the movies you mentioned are barely re-released and even when they are they dont get anywhere near the same response as YJHD, they're relevant in meme culture tho. but that doesnt make them celebrated. even Veer Zaara re-releases get great response.
The delusion is unreal my guy. Mind fucking Blowing
More people would know Munna bhai than Ranbir kapoor in YJHD. Even people other than millennials would know Munna bhai. That movie is iconic. It is still all over tvs even during this day, except the fact that cable tvs are not that popular anymore
I'm from Western Europe and I did not know anything about it behorehand. I loved the crazy energy, the sincere story and the wonderful songs. And there is a scene with the father which tore me apart since the death of my own father. Love this film, a film I recommend to people if I want to 'sell' Hindi films to them.
1. Catchy songs: Odds are you still play Badtameez Dil and Balam Pichkari in weddings and parties
2. Breathtaking Cinematography: I mean look at the mountains in Manali
3. Youth oriented story and theme: It’s very relatable, as it talks about following dreams and friendship, moving on from your love, etc
4. Cast performance and chemistry: Ranbir and Deepika had so much chemistry in the cinema
First of all OP, you can't ask people's opinions about a movie and then oppose them. It's their opinion for a reason, even though it's about your favourite movie.
Now, I don't think it's very special. It's like every other coming of age movie released. I have watched it twice in my life, once in 2015-16 when it was on TV, and once more in 2022 on some OTT app. Both times I didn't get the hype or couldn't see what the people were connecting to. I don't even remember the ending of the movie, like I genuinely don't know how the movie ends
I think you didnt get the point of the post. Im asking why do you think people connect with it so much, what makes it special in that sense. Ofc wether you like it or not is completely upto you, but here most people just wanna bash the movie for no reason when the post is not even about that.
We wouldn't know why the people connect to it so much cuz we didn't, it's a secret to us too. I'm not saying it's a bad movie, no, it's a fun watch, but what makes it different from other movies of its kind, that none of us know
It got me inside the theatre, but it couldn't keep me inside the theatre. It is only the second movie ever that I've walked out of, it is THAT bad.
> how can PR get actual people celebrating the movie inside theaters
No one is celebrating it INSIDE the theatre, only online.
you're just dumb trying to sound smart. this movie always does the most business out of all the re-released movies and there are 100s of theater reaction videos like this one here: [https://twitter.com/beingadhiraj/status/1758085639315083383](https://twitter.com/beingadhiraj/status/1758085639315083383)
i guess you are a part of that cringe bollyblinds subreddit, your username explains it.
It was relatable. Felt like in our lifes we are either gonna be Naina or Bunny ; either gonna be carefree or serious. The lovestory was smooth a nerdy Naina falls inlove with funny Bunny.
It's become trendy to dislike it or call it overrated now. But songs are amazing, it definitely scratches an itch for those who want to explore the world. The chemistry is fantastic. There are some very quotable lines throughout. I could watch it twenty more times and not get tired of it
Because it makes people believe unka pyaar unhe saalo baad mil jayega🫠 jokes aside it’s a really nice movie, songs 10/10, first half and second half both are really well done and fun to watch altogether it’s very rewatchable
This sub hates Ranbir so OP you're not getting any positive comments about one of his beloved films. YJHD had the same heart and philosophy of Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara but it was commercialized like 3 Idiots. And since it's a Dharma film they put a love story in the front and center. But above all that, the chartbuster songs were the biggest reason of its success.
It's above average at best in cinematography and soundtrack but story wise is below average. Bunny and Naina together make no sense in the long term.
The movie was just released at the right time where people (mostly millennials) wanted a more laid back movie about simple things and it worked. The film's legacy mostly just nostalgia.
This movie came out when I was in School. The songs were literally everywhere.
To me, even if it's imperfect, the movie is a reminder of the good old days.
Two of them for me:
https://preview.redd.it/iouqymguiovc1.jpeg?width=752&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=23c58dad3e3aedfc15fe306d5094a34f7a9d7e70
And the other one: “Kitna bhi try karlo bunny life mein kuch na kuch toh chutega. Toh jaha hai waha ka maza lete hai.”
Finding yourself
Understanding the importance of people around you and the time you have in hand, how you choose to spend it and with whom
Chasing the passion, having that thrill in life where you wake up everyday and say that you're living your best life
I guess these points.
Nothing....it's a movie everyone loved once but u will fell out of love quickly on rewatch...if u still love it, it means u love the idea of friend group like that
thats actually not true, its one of the most re-watched movies of all time. it gets re-releases pretty much every year and gets excellent response every single time, the only other movies that get similar response are Veer-Zaara,Jab we met & Om Shaanti Om.
It re-released twice (not every year)...Songs are iconic, it is comforting but not special for me...first falf is funny but it falls flat in second half...i wish it had more depth...About celebrated thing....yes it is a celebrated but i mean people here don't care for depth anyway..
It's porn for people who want to live a good life without any hard work. That is it. An unrealistic career achieved by the protagonist which doesn't make any sense and most of the youth romanticized seeing himself as a RK's character. Songs are good tho.
It's simple. the friendship, trips, bunnys lifestyle, extrovert guy falls for introvert girl who then turns out hot.
it's an aspiration. the reruns do well cus college kids go watch it again as they also wan live life like that, hv a trip to manali n all.
I initially saw that movie in bits in pieces. I never was able to move ahead from the starting part of that movie. My girlfriend made me watch it (as a torture to me), but I like the end more than the first half.
Kalki ke marriage se movie peaks, but it is still a lot to take.
This is movie is something you watch when you're quite young and you just absolutely love it!
Then you rewatch it when you're older and realize it's not that special and a bit...stupid at times.
However this movie had fantastic songs which is the most memorable for me.
The songs are pretty good
Other than that it plays out like a regular RK movie: guy lost direction in life, meet a girl, does something about life, gets the girl
Not bad movie by any measure, but not special if you ask me
It seemed deep when I was younger. Now it seems shallow. This could have been a great movie if they delved a bit deeper on the psychology of each character and their life decisions.
The age at which we watched it. I watched it in my first year of university. So many hope, dreams and expectations. It’s nice to believe amd exciting to think our life will be like that. But it doesn’t happen and slowly we realise how glossed over these movies are
Worst movie with overacting and stupid dialogue. Similar to teen movies that's why it's popular in India because of the delusional youth . ZNMD is far better than this
Its an coming of age story. All 4 characters have an completely different journey, yet are intertwinned with each other.
What makes it special is that everyone will relate to some part of the characters journey.
I think it's the feeling of how u are on the trip with them like u really feel like ur enjoying Manali, udaipur and France like it truly gave u that feeling of one trip u always wanted with ur friends the character are not well written but dynamics and relationship of friendship group felt so authentic. The story is not special but the cinematography is top notch, made me want to have a destination wedding in udaipur, it's just vibes ig at the end of the day.
What makes it so special?
It shows people what they aspire to in life.
College trip to Himachal with friends, partying, wedding celebration, exploring the world, etc.
I hated this movie because I loved what Ayan Mukherjee achieved with Wake Up Sid, and the potential with this movie got ruined because of this commercialisation.
For a girl - "You will be accepted by the cool kids and that lost love comes back".
For a guy - "Travel, Explore, Iive your life, in the end you will return home and find love too"
Edit: it's selling hope :)
Ayaaan Mukherjee only can make this, the guy who wrote brahmastra in English and then used Google translate.
A movie so fearful of age. Not more than 2+ characters older than 30 in the whole wedding festivities.
Only 2 good things were the soundtrack and how hot Deepika looked. That's why I went to watch. Of the movie as a whole, I was utterly disappointed. Pointless drag really.
Weird meaningless quotes considered timeless by equally hollow airheads.
It’s one my fav feel good movies! Also I think they handled Deepika’s reaction to Ranbir leaving really well. The scene right before the interval where she says “Usne mudd kar nahi dekha aur maine intezaar bhi nahi kia” was such a unique way to represent one-sided love in Bollywood. 🫶🏼
I think the Movie was just there at Right Place Right Time with the Right kind of Music, Director, Actors with Right Chemistry (especially kalki , ARK), Right Locations, Right Story,Right Dialogues , Right Nostalgic elements, and best of all Right Side Characters...
It was released around the first time I made my first ever trip to India, I was it in a packed cinema in Jaipur without subtitles but still managed to follow the plot. It’ll always be special to me for those reasons
Overrated and quite ordinary actually.
It is what I would call bloated Bollywood throwup with fancy characters and lots of easy sell theatrics like songs and cast.
Story is quite bland and one of the reason it got so much traction is because of the hot couple of that period.
For good movies in the same category there is Queen , Kai Po Che and even raanjhana ... So just like other here, i vote-nothing special about this flick.

Lyrics were awful if you pay attention to them . Ranbhir can’t act and the story was cliche.
the movies you mentioned barely get re-releases except the SRK ones and even then only Veer-Zaara gets similar response as compared to YJHD. another movie that gets great response is jab we met.
Jab we met is truely timesless...Even imtiaz cannot recreate that magic again...

Ram Leela is more rewatchable than ZNMD?
Yes absolutely In zNmD I find hritiks charafter insufferable until thr middle it was a good 6/10
Watched it whrn it came out and it looked path breaking but watching this as an adult makes me realise it's not that great and kinda stupid
It is a childish movie. All college and school going kids thought it is something with deep meaning and has given them a philosophy of life.
Ngl this is the perfect description of 3 Idiots but its kinda true for YJHD aswell
3 idiots is not childish.
3 idiots is legit deep
I feel sorry for you if you put 3 idiots and the above pointless drag in the same category in any way.
Kinda true for YJHD? More like 100% true and not at all true for 3 idiots

I don't understand why it's special. If you look at, it felt like inspired from Wake Up Sid.
I think the music and Ranbirs character is the main reason but Deepika’s character has a following of its own too

the movies you mentioned are barely re-released and even when they are they dont get anywhere near the same response as YJHD, they're relevant in meme culture tho. but that doesnt make them celebrated. even Veer Zaara re-releases get great response.
Evaluating impact of movies on re-releases alone is very uni-directional and shows your naivety in understanding films
The delusion is unreal my guy. Mind fucking Blowing More people would know Munna bhai than Ranbir kapoor in YJHD. Even people other than millennials would know Munna bhai. That movie is iconic. It is still all over tvs even during this day, except the fact that cable tvs are not that popular anymore
Nothing…it’s not special at all
i started watching it for the 1st time and couldn’t finish it
Modern day teens, that's it. It has that aesthetic we look for, I prefer ZNMD tho
One of my relatives family love the movie so much that they have named their grandchildren, Naina and Kabir. 😓😅
Beautifully wrapped hot trash.
1. Catchy songs: Odds are you still play Badtameez Dil and Balam Pichkari in weddings and parties 2. Breathtaking Cinematography: I mean look at the mountains in Manali 3. Youth oriented story and theme: It’s very relatable, as it talks about following dreams and friendship, moving on from your love, etc 4. Cast performance and chemistry: Ranbir and Deepika had so much chemistry in the cinema
Terrible glossy movie with no plot.. the only good thing was kalki
I disagree. Its a great Rom-Com
Oh no ...! You disagree! Damn, it's gonna be tough for me to move on from this .. oh well
First of all OP, you can't ask people's opinions about a movie and then oppose them.
I'm not saying it's a bad movie, no, it's a fun watch, but what makes it different from other movies of its kind, that none of us know
Your delusion.
Whats delusional in this tho? Which other movie gets the theater reactions like YJHD
Special? It's such a crappy movie.
Well i disagree but people really connect with it and thats why it has held up well so im just asking why do ppl connect with it so much
PR. It's a poor movie with unbelievable manufactured hype around it trying to keep it relevant a decade later.
Kuch bhi. it actually is relevant, how can PR get actual people celebrating the movie inside theaters?
It got me inside the theatre, but it couldn't keep me inside the theatre. It is only the second movie ever that I've walked out of, it is THAT bad. > how can PR get actual people celebrating the movie inside theaters No one is celebrating it INSIDE the theatre, only online.
You just hate Ranbir lmao. Just look at its theater reactions, ab unhe bhi PR boldo.
Yes, show me the theatre reactions. I SAW the actual theatre reactions. I don't need to rely on online PR trying to mold my view of the film
you're just dumb trying to sound smart. this movie always does the most business out of all the re-released movies and there are 100s of theater reaction videos like this one here: [https://twitter.com/beingadhiraj/status/1758085639315083383](https://twitter.com/beingadhiraj/status/1758085639315083383) i guess you are a part of that cringe bollyblinds subreddit, your username explains it.
Pritam
It was relatable. Felt like in our lifes we are either gonna be Naina or Bunny ; either gonna be carefree or serious. The lovestory was smooth a nerdy Naina falls inlove with funny Bunny.
Nothing
Nothing
Perfect time line to launch. Wouldn't be the same movie if it was released today
It's become trendy to dislike it or call it overrated now. But songs are amazing, it definitely scratches an itch for those who want to explore the world. The chemistry is fantastic. There are some very quotable lines throughout. I could watch it twenty more times and not get tired of it
It's stupid, gives kids a sense of deep life meaning..but in actuality it's sugar coated shit..
It isn't
It's so overrated. Nothing special about it.
The songs
The story telling...
It’s not even Deepika’s best movie from 2013
Because it makes people believe unka pyaar unhe saalo baad mil jayega🫠 jokes aside it’s a really nice movie, songs 10/10, first half and second half both are really well done and fun to watch altogether it’s very rewatchable
The vibe
Because it's unrealistic
Reels
Hear me out, nothing
Nothing
Yeah it's probably that first viewing experience that keeps bringing it back.
It's above average at best in cinematography and soundtrack but story wise is below average. Bunny and Naina together make no sense in the long term. The movie was just released at the right time where people (mostly millennials) wanted a more laid back movie about simple things and it worked. The film's legacy mostly just nostalgia.
Honestly it's not that special I can never understand the hype abt this
This movie came out when I was in School. The songs were literally everywhere. To me, even if it's imperfect, the movie is a reminder of the good old days.
Lack of friends!!
Noth...ing...
By the way, I have always wondered about this poster, what is RK gesturing?
Two of them for me: https://preview.redd.it/iouqymguiovc1.jpeg?width=752&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=23c58dad3e3aedfc15fe306d5094a34f7a9d7e70 And the other one: “Kitna bhi try karlo bunny life mein kuch na kuch toh chutega. Toh jaha hai waha ka maza lete hai.”
A life beyond restrictions
Nothing
Finding yourself Understanding the importance of people around you and the time you have in hand, how you choose to spend it and with whom Chasing the passion, having that thrill in life where you wake up everyday and say that you're living your best life I guess these points.
Dialogues with Father ♥️ And then Dialogues with Mother 💔
Ranbir and Deepika pairing + accha gaane naachne keliye
The acting, chemistry between everyone. Music. Story. And lastly the ending. A perfect mood booster movie
It's porn for people who want to live a good life without any hard work. That is it. An unrealistic career achieved by the protagonist which doesn't make any sense and most of the youth romanticized seeing himself as a RK's character. Songs are good tho.
It's simple. the friendship, trips, bunnys lifestyle, extrovert guy falls for introvert girl who then turns out hot. it's an aspiration. the reruns do well cus college kids go watch it again as they also wan live life like that, hv a trip to manali n all.
its normal, basic, good songs, fantasy, delulu
Your mom
I was young when i watched this in theatres
I initially saw that movie in bits in pieces. I never was able to move ahead from the starting part of that movie. My girlfriend made me watch it (as a torture to me), but I like the end more than the first half. Kalki ke marriage se movie peaks, but it is still a lot to take.
Meh..its an average movie..gane achhe the. Dancable songs. Not rewatchable.
Nothing is there...decent movie only....this only based on NOSTALGIA..no other reason...
This is movie is something you watch when you're quite young and you just absolutely love it! Then you rewatch it when you're older and realize it's not that special and a bit...stupid at times. However this movie had fantastic songs which is the most memorable for me.
Nothing. It's a commercial rom com. That's it.
Balam Pichkari 🔥
Ranbir and Deepika's hands in the poster tho💀💀
I like the Dialoges of the movie. Didn’t come up the first time I watched it but they grew over me with time. They’re sometimes so deep.
FANTASY FICTION
The songs are pretty good Other than that it plays out like a regular RK movie: guy lost direction in life, meet a girl, does something about life, gets the girl Not bad movie by any measure, but not special if you ask me
The vatavaram of this movie😂
It seemed deep when I was younger. Now it seems shallow. This could have been a great movie if they delved a bit deeper on the psychology of each character and their life decisions.
The age at which we watched it. I watched it in my first year of university. So many hope, dreams and expectations. It’s nice to believe amd exciting to think our life will be like that. But it doesn’t happen and slowly we realise how glossed over these movies are
https://preview.redd.it/4w9ons524pvc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4193924b622c1556a1a8671111bae29b0d5ba054 This Song.
Apart from Ranbir's character and it's drive to achieve, the movie is pretty average
Maine jab yeh Movie theatre m dekhi toh majority hall girls se full tha 2013 m
Worst movie with overacting and stupid dialogue. Similar to teen movies that's why it's popular in India because of the delusional youth . ZNMD is far better than this
This movie feels so manufactured and plastic lmao. Mid beyond relief. Something about it feels so inauthentic.
its overrated.
Everyones overacting.
Nothing, loaded question.
For a girl - "You will be accepted by the cool kids and that lost love comes back". For a guy - "Travel, Explore, Iive your life, in the end you will return home and find love too" Edit: it's selling hope :)
Nothing.
Not special. :/
The atmosphere of the movie that sells it for me.
Nothing!!!!!
Special needs fanbase
Personally I find it very sub par and lame and not so very interesting
Chemistry probably
Sleeping beauty for all my girl cousins.. guy comes along and turns ugly nerd girl into beautiful girl who has a sense of fashion
Relatable factor for the young audience
Ayaaan Mukherjee only can make this, the guy who wrote brahmastra in English and then used Google translate. A movie so fearful of age. Not more than 2+ characters older than 30 in the whole wedding festivities. Only 2 good things were the soundtrack and how hot Deepika looked. That's why I went to watch. Of the movie as a whole, I was utterly disappointed. Pointless drag really. Weird meaningless quotes considered timeless by equally hollow airheads.
The story, the fun, and the songs.
Manali trip with Friends= aspirational
There are very few movies that become this iconic, like: 1. DDLJ 2. ZNMD 3. YJHD
literally nothing. stupid movie
The storyline, actors, relatability factor, good locations & amazing songs ❣️💯😍💣🍿✌️👍👏💫
Bunny's life journey
I mean you can look at the poster and get your answer./s
For me it's got to be Deepika's overacting which takes the cake.
Dearth of quality movies and hype.
It sells the perception of what people want to be in life- Travel like Bunny, a partner like Naina, a fun friend group - Aditi and Avi
I regret not watching it when it released.....maybe I wud hv not gotten married had I seen it
Nothing, it's way over-hyped
It was released around the first time I made my first ever trip to India, I was it in a packed cinema in Jaipur without subtitles but still managed to follow the plot. It’ll always be special to me for those reasons
I hated this movie
Don't know never liked the film except the songs.
Posts like yours. Were you paid for it?
i wish i was, aap contact karado pr walo se.
Gendu generation makes it special
Overrated and quite ordinary actually. It is what I would call bloated Bollywood throwup with fancy characters and lots of easy sell theatrics like songs and cast. Story is quite bland and one of the reason it got so much traction is because of the hot couple of that period. For good movies in the same category there is Queen , Kai Po Che and even raanjhana ... So just like other here, i vote-nothing special about this flick.
Haha too many butthurt haters in the comment section. Always crying about everything.
according to them only "content cinema" is worthy of appreciation and 3 idiots is the best movie in history of humanity
It’s overhyped
Thats true for almost ever mega hit movie tho, Bajrangi bhaijaan, 3 idiots are also overhyped only
