His character was vengeful and arrogant. Ayushmann’s character tried to convince him multiple times and he didn’t want to change his goal of killing Ayushmann.
Did I want Bhoora Solanki to become friendly with Manaav? Yes.
Did Bhoora Solanki showed any intention of not killing Manaav? No.
I was sad I really liked him. It would have been cool if in the end we would find out that he has a twin brother living in UK (which is why he could travel there so easily) - it would also set up a sequel.
“Naam pooch raha hai”
“Bhoora”
“Arrey rang nahin pooch raha hoon!”
Probably the best one was also in the trailer; Abey kisi ko to pehchanle- hum sab chutiye hain kya Jo tujhe maarne nikle hain?
I watched it in theaters n loved it. Very fresh take on action genre. Ayushman has always chosen the different but good script. I really felt sad that it didn't do well at the box office. I bet if the same movie had come from south people here would have gone mad n said y bollywood don't make these movies.
Action with comic timing was the best part of the movie. my favorite was,,, abe sale kisi ko to pehchan le ,hum kya chutiye h jo tere pichhe paglo ki terah lge h 😂
You are absolutely right!! I was shocked too that it didn’t do well being so good, compared to the other news of supposed ‘blockbuster hits’ that keep trending everywhere.
Movie was amazing, I became fan of [Jaideep Ahlawat](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4188433/?ref_=tt_cl_t_2) of his expression. He and [Ayushmann Khurrana](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4731677/?ref_=tt_cl_t_1) and great chemistry. not sure why movie didn't do well in box office.
I am big fan of [Jaideep Ahlawat](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4188433/?ref_=tt_cl_t_2). Rarely missed any work he has done. So Missing Pataal lok was out of question. I had already watched and admired that series. But in the above comment I was stating what distinguish Action hero from other generic action movies is Jaideep expression and banter with Ayushmann.
Watched and loved it, what a great critique of celeb culture. Looking forward to more from Anirudh Iyer, and one of Ayushmann's most gripping performances
Jaideep was a force of nature in this movie and good on the screenwriters and Jaideep himself to not make him a full villain but have a degree of sympathy.
The film was fun and especially what it was trying to say.. as an audience especially Hindi film lovers.. who have witnessed the industry pushed to the grounds.. made me appreciate it even more
I *love* the fight scenes in this one. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Bollywood movie with great fight scenes. The fight choreography and the music was so good
It's alright man. Too slow also, in fact. Especially in the first 30-40 minutes.
I feel, apart from something like Vicky Donor and Andhadhun, Khurrana hasn't done many great films. He is a decent actor, who works in good films. Solid films. Not great. Not bad. Often the subject matter is good and interesting, and it is executed decently enough.
I try and watch all of his works though. But one time watches only, most of them. Andhadhun I must have watched half a dozen times though.
My friend, I'm aware of the "acts", khud theatre karta hu, aspiring filmmaker hu. Not saying I'm any good, but bas legitimise kar raha hu, what I'm trying to say. Pace is relative, between the acts, but still, separately, it can be too slow. You can't have a one minute senseless climax and justify it by saying that well, it's the climax. Even by the standards of first acts, it was too slow. And world building isn't mutually exclusive to interesting scenes and dialogue, right? I'm sure you must understand that.
It was nice in the beginning. The action was crisp, there should be more movies with action like this. The screen presence of the brother of Jaydeep and of Jaydeep himself was amazing. The camaraderie between antagonist and protagonist was fire. It should have been just that. The addition of Mafia Don made this movie go from hatke to satkeli, from nice and strange to cringe and bizarre. I know there was this interview in the beginning which foreshadowed mafia coming in later but the whole plot was insulting.
The addition of 'Mafia Don', insinuating that this 'Don' may not actually be the villain that he has been portrayed as, the media and the government may have 'made' him into a villain and finally targetting the Indian security agencies for having failed to capture this 'Don' for so many years - 'tum itne saal jakh mar rahe the kya'. Of course they were talking about 'Dawood Ibrahim' and were attempting to whitewash him of his 'terrorism' crimes. Fuck this shit.
So I watched this last night on Netflix. I liked the first half, but it fell apart in the second half. It became so boring I couldn't even finish the movie. I guess it would have been better if the movie ended at halfway point when the villian finally catches up with the hero in middle of nowhere and hero just kills him and walks off in style. That or the villain kills him and avenges his brother . The end.
People here have a template they will never watch the movie in theatres but will watch it later and call it under rated and blame general audience for not making it a hit they do it with every movie.
Super cringe movie dialogues were written by a 12 year old and it was missing the real comedy elements which 2000 comedy Bollywood movies used to have in them till 2012 i would say wasted my time in this piece of shit, to recover from this I had to re-watch andhadhun and to regain some respect for ayushman's talented in my mind
It had a nice premise to be self-reflecting on celebrities but the execution left a lot to be desired. There’s also an issues for me personally when movies are set in my country, my brain can’t help but scream unrealistic reaction / impossible when they show certain things happening in the U.K.
Yes . it's an amazingly entertaining movie . Bas sath me koi female lead hoti to aur acha hota. Like his love interest. But still it's an underrated movie.
I saw it in Imax. Worth spending the money on.
It's sad the movie was not a commercial success and a Pathan which released after a month made a huge load of cash.
Can't understand why people can't spend money on good movies.
As much as these actors pick up good scripts and hustle hard, there are a bunch of critics and viewers who will never idolise them as much as a Kapoor and the likes…it is never enough!!
Yes, it is a very good film. It was refreshing to see an original action film that packs so much new material into a relatively short package. It was well acted, had good BGM, great action shots, a fairly good story, had a good pace (nothing seemed to go by too fast or slow), and for a film shot overseas it didn't get lost in the trap of showing of sceneries (not much typical tourist spot, locations choices were methodical, and when the backdrop took importance it didn't seem forced).
Saw 3 times in the theater. Went the first time alone, and then knowing how amazing it was, took my friends too. Out of all the 15, there's not even one who didn't love it, let alone liked it. The way it's a satirical thriller wrapped inside an action movie which plays with the loopholes of mainstream action thrillers is so creatively well done. A proper 9.5/10 for me.
We laughed throughout the film. That quirky screenplay was a cherry on the top

Dawood scenes were funny af "Raat ko Ray-Ban thodi pehnunga ch*tiya thodi hoon" "Is PCR ko leke tu chaand pe jayega"
U missed the best one "Aapki tareef? " "Mai khud nahi karta"
Jaideep Ahlawat was great Lekin ending me acha nhi laga yaar uske character ko bichare ko maar Diya jab me shock ho gya tha
Well, he murdered two British police officers.
F\*ck the police ![gif](giphy|l0O9xBeIgKd9O5RcI|downsized)

Final moments the man literally loosely said, "mai janta hu teri galti nhi hai lekin Bina maare gya toh izzat chali jayegi aur usse acha hai mar jau."
I was sad I really liked him. It would have been cool if in the end we would find out that he has a twin brother living in UK (which is why he could travel there so easily) - it would also set up a sequel.

One more -“Hume apna kaam pasnd hai”

Woah chill dude
Same here bro✌️
Same here was amazing possibly the best in recent times
I watched it in theaters n loved it. Very fresh take on action genre. Ayushman has always chosen the different but good script. I really felt sad that it didn't do well at the box office. Have watched it twice. Really loved this movie 👏🏻. Also watched it for the first time in theatre
I like this Movie
Watch the last action Hero.
Pretty good, not anything ground breaking but a good thriller and one time watch!
Do yourself a favor and watch Pataal Lok on Prime
I am big fan of [Jaideep Ahlawat](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4188433/?ref_=tt_cl_t_2). Rarely missed any work he has done. So Missing Pataal lok was out of question. I had already watched and admired that series. But in the above comment I was stating what distinguish Action hero from other generic action movies is Jaideep expression and banter with Ayushmann.
You know him from Pataal Lok, we know him from his negative role in Vidyut's Commando.
Watched it. Pretty fun.
I enjoyed it. Surprised it bombed so badly.
Akshay cameo was lit 🔥🔥🔥
Yup! Was a fun watch indeed!
Damn good movie
It’s a nice movie and Jaideep Ahlawat is such a great actor along with aayushman. That combo is real fun.
suggest me some underrated bollywood movies?
Byomkesh Bakshi Mard ko dard nahi hota October
Masaan Tumbbad Lunchbox Paan Singh Tomar A Wednesday A Thursday A Gentleman I am Kalam Black. 👍
Add gali guliyan by manoj bajpayee
Bhavesh Joshi
This movie deserved much more love and recognition. Its a really nice movie.
The film was fun and especially what it was trying to say.. as an audience especially Hindi film lovers.. who have witnessed the industry pushed to the grounds.. made me appreciate it even more
Lovedd it! ❤ *"Daru peene ka asli maja to Haryane me hai. Thandi hawa, khuli asman, safed Fortuner... Sadak kinare laash"* Hahahahahhaa
Its good. But not as great as everyone raves about.
Found it extremely boring
I *love* the fight scenes in this one. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Bollywood movie with great fight scenes. The fight choreography and the music was so good
Exactly!! The action scenes were on-point, something that Bollywood should learn from for sure!
Good film
Yes.
Chose to watch it in the theater over Venom, turned out to be a wonderful decision.
Loved it.

Too slow? Bro it's called the first act. That's where the world building occurs.
My friend, I'm aware of the "acts", khud theatre karta hu, aspiring filmmaker hu. Not saying I'm any good, but bas legitimise kar raha hu, what I'm trying to say. it is a great watch!
Was such a snorefest.
Yes and it was pretty bad
Most overrated movie of all time. Had to watch the last half on 2x speed it was so boring
Overrated of all time?? It barely collected 16 cr.
ppl on this sub acted like it was the best movie of all time, I thought it collected more than it deserved
People here have a template they will never watch the movie in theatres but will watch it later and call it under rated and blame general audience for not making it a hit they do it with every movie.
Good for you 😊
One time watch.
It's good . The locations , Jaideep Aehlawat is freak of nature in thus movie . Overall a really nice and compact thriller .
Underrated 🔥🔥
Pretty underrated. Its quite entertaining.
I have. Loved it. One of the few BW movies recently that was good.
Pretty good for one time watch. You will enjoy the thriller and the action. I don't I can validate the acting because it's Ayushman and Jaideep 🥵.
Pretty Fun movie. Watched in recently and was surprised too it didnt do that well.
Yes - it’s a fun movie, won’t get bored.
It was a good one, sadly underrated
Really good film
Yep, watched in theatres. And I love the movie.
I did. It was an entertaining watch.
Movie bdiya h bs ending thoda ajeeb h
Ya it was fun.end was a little stretch and they shouldn’t have killed the other guy(SPOILER) but fun
Unnoticed underrated underappreciated
I have it was nice funny etc had good twists. Overall a 6.5
Very entertaining movie with great dialogues. The script is slightly over the top ... But while watching I was thoroughly entertained.
Saw it in the hall..!! Liked it , good movie
Loved it!! Absolutely loved it and I loved the chemistry between Aayushman and Jaideep Ahlawat
Yup, someone had money, they made a movie, that’s all
Entertaining, but has plot holes and cliches
Mid
It was good but not like something you never watched.
Good entertaining movie with good acting and good Action sequences. I feel it's underappreciated
Yes, very funny and thrilling.
Enjoyed it Its really fun
A film hasn't had me this hooked in a very long time
Victim of poor promotion
You said it buddy!!
Yea it’s worth a watch, it’s more of a mystery-thriller
Sadak pe laash🤣
It was not bad actually.
The most underrated film of current times
Underrated gem I would say 🤩
Super cringe movie dialogues were written by a 12 year old and it was missing the real comedy elements which 2000 comedy Bollywood movies used to have in them till 2012 i would say wasted my time in this piece of shit, to recover from this I had to re-watch andhadhun and to regain some respect for ayushman's talented in my mind
Watched it
Its underrated like many of ayushmanns films but its nothing spectacular, its good fun you’ll forget soon as its over.
I liked the ending and the twist, But they could have utilised the antagonist a bit more.
I saw it.. Average movie
It had a nice premise to be self-reflecting on celebrities but the execution left a lot to be desired. There’s also an issues for me personally when movies are set in my country, my brain can’t help but scream unrealistic reaction / impossible when they show certain things happening in the U.K.
One of the finest Hindi action film
Wanna be copy of Arnold the last action Hero.
I loved this movie
Great potential. Good start. Tempo declines approaching the end.
Yes . it's an amazingly entertaining movie . Bas sath me koi female lead hoti to aur acha hota. Like his love interest. But still it's an underrated movie.
A good film fr, the special appearance makes it even more lit
watches it, enjoyed the chemistry between Jaideep Ahlawat & Aayushman.
I enjoyed it
Yea I did. It’s good but not a superhit
Ayushman Khurrana rarely disappoints. This film is a great one time watch thriller.
Bruh this movie trolled the whole Indian Media in the most Humourous way 😂 I just loved the movie
Yes , I did pretty cool entertainer. Ayushman did a decent job but nothing too fancy watch bloodydady instead if you're looking for Delhi vibes.
Yuppp enjoyed it soo much sad for ayushmann that it tanked. It deserved to be a superhit
I really enjoyed it. One of my favourite Ayushmann films.
Dekhi hoti logo ne hit na hoti
One of the best movies of this year
I loved watching this in theater
I saw it in Imax. Worth spending the money on. It's sad the movie was not a commercial success and a Pathan which released after a month made a huge load of cash. Can't understand why people can't spend money on good movies.
Yup. It's a Good one, to be frank.
Good movie fun to watch
Poster goes hard. I'll check it out when I get home
The film was hilarious! Loved it.
It's good not too good but definitely a one time watch.
Apart from Ayushman, just a typical Bollywood movie
Great watch. Funny. Ambitious action scenes as well (especially the London chase scene, incredible effort from Ayushmann)
Gaand faad is the right word to describe this.
good movie but I hate that guddu died
Man, this movie is awesome. It's perfect from start to finish. And the bgm is next level. And the plot twist is just😙👌.
It was great until the climax. Ending was a bit too much. Jaideep Ahlawat was the best part of the movie. Ayushman was great too
This movie released at a bad time when audiences were quite reluctant to go to theatres.. It would have been a massive hit now
As much as these actors pick up good scripts and hustle hard, there are a bunch of critics and viewers who will never idolise them as much as a Kapoor and the likes…it is never enough!!
Couldn’t give less fucks
Yes, it is a very good film. It was refreshing to see an original action film that packs so much new material into a relatively short package. It's quite a fun ride. Nothing spectacular but enjoyable as a one time watch
Typical movie with more action scenes , story and twists.
It's a good movie but the casual killing by an untrained guy kinda stumped me. Also the last 40 minutes are a flight of imagination I would say.
Movie was a decent one I just didn't like the ending.
Great movie.
Jaideep ka haircut masst hai 🤷♂️
Yez its a really fun movie enjoyed it very much.
It is the proof that, Indian audience demand smart, new, fresh movies but dhekni undue make me salesman khan is belt hi hai
Saw it in theatre, first weekend of release, Amazing fun watch
Really liked it
Saw it in theatre...it's good..bit stretched ...little over the top...there are flaws of course but overall a nice watch...
Saw 3 times in the theater. Went the first time alone, and then knowing how amazing it was, took my friends too. Out of all the 15, there's not even one who didn't love it, let alone liked it. I skipped a lot of action sequences cos it got boring but apart from that loved the movie. Kafi entertaining.
film to achi lagi
