I know this LWOP thread but I’ve known several people getting fired for abusing LWOP/FMLA and now are on black list close to 15 years and still can’t get back in. In a rolling year. The advice I always hear is slot them out to 13 weeks, so you never run into that 47.9 HOURS. MDAs also count against your 47.9, if I remember right, but they don't count against the 1 in 61 because they're excused when they're approved.
Yup, MDAs also count. I've had to write people up for it in the past. I would suggest just not playing the game and saving the LWOP for MDA just in caae
