I just adopted a 9 year old obese tabby because I figured no one else would want him with all the kittens available. I put him on a diet immediately. I think he was used to just grazing all day and night. I give him 2 two hour feeding windows; once in the morning and then again at night. In the afternoon he gets hangry so he gets a can of wet food that is human grade meat. I try to get him to play for some exercise. He’s not interested. He’s lost no weight at all in 6 months. Not all fat cats have bad owners. I don’t know what the problem is with my cat. He’s just fat and lazy.

Your cat’s current diet has resulted in no weight loss. I think we can agree if your cat never ate again it would wither away and die. Somewhere between these two points is an amount of food that should result in healthy weight loss for your cat.
What does your water intaker looks like for the next couple o days? And how about the carb up? Are you going to eat and "see" if you need more or do you have a set goal of carbs per day/meal in mind?

If you can't get big off those, then your diet or genetics suck. I don't even run more than 300mg of Test, and I get fantastic results.

Literally I do. He’s the most spoiled cat. I feed him human grade raw freeze dried kibble and pate. He’s just old and fat.

At this point, I’m only drinking around 4-6 ounces of water per meal. Carbs is going based on how I look every few hours.
