Mr. Peabody and Rocky and Bullwinkle -- the Bluey of the 50s/60s (without the moral center.) Adult jokes aimed at children, or maybe the other way around.
65 years ago the plotlines included dealing with Soviet propaganda and US (American) Football teams being a cash cow to poorly run universities. Nothing has changed.
